I was so a angry that I downed this glass of wine. Werewolves metabolize alcohol much differently than humans it took large quantities to intoxicate us. So when I passed a server offering more wine I exchanged him glasses. Anything to kill this irritation I was feeling and make me feel happy and giggle. I was half way finished with that one when someone bumped into me. I apologized immediately to the person, it was Axel. He was keeping an eye on me something I didn’t enjoy the thought of. I shoved him off me, his grin was sickening.
“Go away, find some other easy lay!” I yelled at him.
“I did, I’m just waiting for it to kick in,” he grunted at me.
I didn’t know what he meant, probably just waiting for the booze to catch up with me. I started to walk away him when the room started spinning. I had never been this drunk and I normally drink a bottle and a half of wine before I feel anything. I stopped moving and watch people pass me by their faces starting to blur. I needed to get to the steps and into my room but the room started to feel like an obstacle course. My head was getting heavy my legs felt weak. I needed to move and fast I knew Axel wasn’t very far behind me. I dashed to the steps quickly not caring if I bumped into anyone the quicker I got away the better. I made it up the steps and half way down the hallway before I tripped on something. I hit the floor hard and my vision started to get fuzzy.
“I gotta go to my room,” I was slurring my words.
I felt a pair of hands grabbing me and trying to grope me. I pushed on the person but my arms were like jelly. I heard the sickening voice and knew who it was.
“Easy cupcake save your energy for later,”’ he whispered.
“N-No, please let me go!” I begged. Tears burning my eyes.
“What’s going on here?!” An Alpha shouted.
“Nothin’ Alpha, just takin’ my drunk girl to her bed.” He explained to which I rewarded him with weak slap.
“Yeah something tells me that she’s not your girlfriend,” the Alpha spoke.
I’m not sure who it was but I think it was Alpha Leto.
“Alpha Leto, please t-tell him to l-let me g-go,” it was getting harder for me to talk.
The arms the held me were no longer around my waist so I fell down and laid on the floor. I knew I was safe so I let the lights go out. I don’t think I dreamed of anything really but I was in and out I remember feeling a bed under me at one point but that’s all. I am pretty sure that Alpha Leto was the one who found me, so this means I should be in my own bed. I turned a few more times before I opened my eyes, the light killed my eyes and my head throbbed.
I really didn’t think I drank that much, my eyes started to focus on my surroundings and the more I looked at the ceiling the more I realized I wasn’t in my room. I looked around looking for where I was. I was alone thankfully, but definitely not in our apartment. I was still in my dress so nothing horrible had happened maybe the Alpha had just dumped me in a guest room. Sitting up quickly despite my body protesting the clock on the night stand said it was six am. I hurried to gather my shoes and ran out the door and down the hall. Not wanting to be caught and think it was the walk of shame. Trying to make no sound as I hurried down the hall and up the steps. Luckily the apartment door wasn’t locked and I snuck in. Dashing to my room and dropping my shoes, I unzipped the dress. Hastily taking the pins out of my hair and hopping in the shower. The water felt amazing on my skin, warming me. The makeup was running down my face as the water washed it off. Finishing my shower and toweling off, I figured it was still much to early to start my birthday so why not go back to bed?
Sighing as my head hit my pillow, sleep came easy. The smell of fresh waffles filled my bedroom, along with freshly brewed coffee. Waking up this time was much better my head didn’t feel as heavy nor did the sunlight burn my eyes. My robe was on the foot of my bed so I grabbed it while putting on my slippers. Mom was making breakfast for me as she always did on my birthdays. Making my way to the kitchen the smell was intoxicating. Coffee was my favorite part of every morning. Mom was setting the table already dress for her busy work day.
“Good morning my birthday girl!” Mom cooed at me.
“Thanks mom, and thank you for making me breakfast.” I smiled at her.
“What are you planning on doing today?” Her curiosity was getting the best of her.
“Nothing special, maybe hang out around the house for awhile and read. Maybe go for a walk in the garden.” I really wasn’t sure what she wanted me to do.
“Okay, but when I get home you and I are going out to dinner.” She beamed at me.
I nodded while stuffing my face full of waffles. She giggled watching me, probably remembering when I was little and I did the same thing. This had been our family tradition for years. We would take turn making each other breakfast on your birthdays. After breakfast I cleaned up the kitchen then decided to sit on the porch for awhile.
Tonight at midnight my transformation would happen. Today my wolf senses would start to wake up and stir within me. Some say that they talk to their wolves and em they even have their own names.
