They had met at one of Echoes' concerts, drawn together by a shared love for music and mutual attraction that had simmered beneath the surface ever since Tonight, however, was different. Tonight, Kai had been invited backstage, a nervous excitement bubbling in his stomach. He had been dreaming of this moment for weeks, ever since Liam had caught his eye in the crowd, a knowing smile playing on his lips. Liam stood before him now,his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. "You came," he said, his voice a low rumble that sent shivers down Kai's spine. "Of course, I did, "Kai replied, his voice barely awhisper. He felt a blush creep up his cheeks, hisheart hammering against his ribs. Liam's smile widened, a warmth radiating from him that melted Kai's anxieties. "I'm glad," he said, his gaze lingering on Kai's face. " Let's get out of here. This place is too loud." They slipped out of the bustling concert hall, the night air a welcome relief from the stifling atmosphere inside.Liam led Kai through amaze of back alleys, the city lights painting a shimmering canvas against the dark sky. "So, tell me about yourself," Liam said, his voice a gentle melody that calmed Kai's racing thoughts. Kai hesitated, suddenly shy under Liam's intense gaze. He had been so focused on Liam, on the music, on the attraction that had bloomed between them, that he hadn't really thought about himself. "Im….I'm a writer," he said, his voice barely audible. "I write poetry." Liam's eyebrows shot up, a flicker of in his eyes. "Poetry?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Yeah," Kai said, his cheeks flushing even deeper. "It's…it's my passion." Liam smiled, a genuine, heart-melting smile that made Kai's heart skip a beat. "I love poetry," he said." Tell me more." They walked on, their conversation a blend of shared dreams, whispered confessions, and a growing sense of connection. The city lights blurred into a kaleidoscope of colors, the air filled with the sweet scent of jasmine and the soft hum of the night. As they reached a quiet park, Liam stopped, his gaze meeting Kai's. "This is my favorite place," he said, his voice soft and intimate. "It's where I come to think, to write, to escape the noise." He took a step closer, his hand reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair from Kai's face. Kai felt a shiver run down his spine, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never felt so alive, so connected to another person. Liam leaned in, his lips brushing against Kai's ear, his breath warm against his skin. "I think I'm falling for you," he whispered, his voice husky with desire. Kai's breath caught in his throat. He had been waiting for these words, for this moment, for solong. He leaned into Liam's touch, his heart overflowing with a love that had been waiting to be unleashed. The city lights shimmered around them, a backdrop to a love story that was just beginning.
