Plot Exposition: Darasimi led a carefree lifestyle in her younger years, a realization that now weighs heavily on her as she considers the challenges her husband has faced. Despite grappling with this newfound awareness, she finds herself struggling to confess it to him. Inciting Incident: Darasimi, a young and innocent girl, fell in love at a young age. She allowed herself to be swept away by the feelings of love and ended up losing her virginity, becoming pregnant. Afraid of facing her parents' anger, she confided in her lover, who happened to be the son of a pastor. Together, they went to see a doctor in another town to have an abortion. Since that moment, Darasimi's life has never been the same. Raising action: Years later, Darasimi found true love and decided to settle down with her prince charming. However, unbeknownst to her, her marriage would suffer as a result of her past actions in her youth. Her youthful l**t deprived her of happiness in her home, love from her in-laws, and peace of mind. She truly suffered from the consequences of her unresolved past in her marriage. Climax: With advice from her friend, Darasimi decided to come clean and confess her past actions to her husband. He was furious and felt betrayed. He became a mere shadow of his former self and decided to end their relationship. Despite Darasimi's pleas for forgiveness, he remained firm in his decision. He recalled how he had stood up for her countless times against his family and had loved her unconditionally, but now he believed she was not worthy of his love. Denouement After confessing to her husband didn’t result as she hoped, Darasimi found solace in the act of laying bare her past transgressions. Despite the outcome, she felt a sense of peace from unburdening herself. Bracing herself for the consequences of her actions and her husband's decisions, she resolved to move forward. Determined to be transparent, she made a vow to reveal her story to any potential suitor before considering marriage again. Characterization Darasimi: She is the central figure in the narrative, and the story revolves around her life. From her youth to her eventual marriage, her lifestyle is vividly depicted. She encounters numerous challenges during her teenage years, which later haunt her in her married life.
