"Oh my goodness! I missed you so much!" Elena squealed as soon as she entered Nikolai's office and set her eyes on me. Her already big eyes widened and looked like they were ready to pop out of their sockets.
"Elena!" I squealed equally, matching her excitement as I rushed to go envelope her in the tightest of hugs. It felt so good seeing my friend again. "I missed you too, hottie." I cooed.
"You scared all of us, you idiot." she scolded, still holding me. I almost had tears in my eyes just from seeing her again. "Don't you dare pull such on us again." I let out a small laugh at her voice that sounded like she was holding back tears.
