It hadn't taken long for Cas to get to the military base where her father was stationed at. He also didn't ask her very many questions seeing how late at night it was...Plus their dad was never really that talkative in the first place but she knew he'd ask eventually. Until then though, she'd enjoy the silence.
Once inside the base she was approached by a few men she recognized from when she was little, she came to think of them as adoptive uncles.
She got the normal "how are you" and "wow you've grown up so much" questions and comments. Cas just agreed and told anyone who asked that she was fine until she was finally escorted to the small house her father lived and where she hazily remembered living when she was younger.
"I left your room the way you left it. Princess sheets and all."
Her father, Mason, spoke to her as he shut and locked the door behind him, chuckling once he finished his sentence.
"Thanks dad. I could really use some well needed sleep."
Cas began to walk towards the hallway until Mason spoke up again.
"Is everything alright at home Cas? With your brothers and school?"
Her shoulders slumped and she stood there thinking of what to say in return to him because there was no way she was telling him what happened.
So, after figuring out what she was going to say she turned to face her father, forming the best smile she could.
"Everything is fine. Sear and Leon are just having some girl problems and I'm having boy troubles."
Still smiling to reassure him, she watched as his suspicious gaze turned into a relaxed one.
"I don't have to rough anyone up do I?"
Cas smiled genuinely before starting to laugh along with him.
"No dad. I roughed him up enough I think, I'm tough remember?"
Mason nodded to her then ruffled her hair, which she hated, before going to the kitchen to grab a drink while Cas tiredly walked to her old room, coming up upon the pinkest princess sheets ever.
"Wow he really hasn't changed anything." She spoke to herself while walking into the room and shutting the door behind her.
Not wasting any time with attempting to find pjs, which she probably wouldn't anyways. So she just kicked off her shoes and climbed into bed, squirming a bit and before she knew it, she had passed out into a peaceful and deep sleep.
~
Leon hadn't been able to sleep a bit. Being completely filled with annoyance and worry was keeping him awake which only annoyed him even more.
Why would his sister just up and leave? What did that little prick do to her?
Unable to stand it any longer, Leon got up from his bed, walked to his bedroom door and swung it open only to be met with Sear's pissed off expression.
"Great.." He muttered under his breath.
Sear forced himself into Leon's room, leaving him a little shocked cause no one entered his room without asking first.
He let it slide though, he must be pissed for some reason. It better be a damn good reason though.
"I told you to fix the s**t between you and Cas!"
Sear snapped at him while folding his arms over his chest.
Leon took a deep breath, followed by a deep exhale before speaking.
"I did fix it, whatever happened to cause her to leave happened with that little boy she went out with."
Sear seemed a little less pissed as he spoke with his brother.
"Do you think he tried to get s****l with her?"
"Yes. I do. Have you seen our sister Sear? She's any man's dream. I have no doubt he tried something with his little pea shooter of a dick."
While speaking, Leon began to smirk at the thought of the boy getting shut down by Cas.
Sear wasn't smirking though, he was too focused on where she was but soon he wouldn't have to worry much when Leon's annoying ass ringtone began to go off from over on his bed.
Both of their gazes turned to look at the lit up phone that was buzzing and ringing.
Since it was his phone, Leon walked over to grab it to read the name. Shocked when it read off "Dad."
Quickly he tapped the green answer button with his thumb before lifting the phone to his ear.
"Dad? What are you doing up this late?"
Leon spoke as he gazed out of the corner of his eyes to see Sear walking closer. He then moved the phone from his ear and tapped the speaker phone button right as their dad spoke.
"Well I got a late night visit from Cas. She's staying with me for awhile it seems. I was guessing she didn't exactly tell you two seeing as something was upsetting her."
Both of them let out a sigh of relief before Sear spoke up.
"Yea we think she's been having some problems at school. We just don't know what yet. Thanks for calling though."
"Hey, it's no problem at all. Plus it's always good to hear from my boys. You two best be staying out of trouble though and taking care of your sister."
While Mason spoke, both of them chuckled internally because they were taking real good care of Cas.
"It's good to hear from you as well and you know we always do. It's our job as brothers."
Leon spoke with a small smirk slowly growing bigger until Sear elbowed him and spoke up.
"It's late dad. We will call to check on Cas tomorrow morning. Want to make sure she's okay and everything."
"Alright boys. You two get some rest and I'll speak to you tomorrow. Goodnight, oh and it wouldn't kill you two to visit as well."
Leon snorted from slight annoyance.
"Same dad. Goodnight."
He hung up the phone after hearing Mason let out a little chuckle.
~
Sear was standing there looking at his brother in disappointment but he knew his gaze would change nothing about Leon's anger towards their father.
So he just shrugged and headed towards the slightly cracked open door before turning to speak.
"You can be mad at him all you want. Doesn't change the fact that he's our father. Try getting over yourself Leon."
He heard Leon snort in annoyance again while seeing him toss his phone on the bed, muttering some words under his breath before walking into his bathroom.
Now a little annoyed as well at Leon's arrogance and stubbornness, Sear left the room to head to his own.
"Dude is going to have to chill. He's got too much anger in him. Hm.. Maybe he's really constipated a lot. That makes people angry sometimes."
He said to himself before chuckling jokingly at his last comment.
Once he entered his room though, his thoughts shifted from jokes to what to do about Cas.
How long was she going to stay there and why did she just up and leave to see their dad?
He didn't want her to be gone for long but he also knew that she probably needed space.
Him and Leon had turned her world upside down and it most likely confused the hell out of their little sister.
"Well fuck..." Sear spoke to himself once again, sighing and dropping to sit on his messy bed, sitting there in complete mental and physical silence until an idea popped into his head.
Maybe he'd pay dear old dad a visit and see how Cas was doing for himself and also learn the whole reason of why she left.
He couldn't be the reason. He was just too darn good looking.
With his mind back into a silly mindset, He laid back and rested his arm behind his head to stare up his ceiling, cracking jokes to make himself laugh until he could calm his mind down enough to fall asleep. Not paying much thought to what Leon was planning as well.
And soon enough after enough jokes......That's exactly what happened and he passed out as fast as Cas had earlier that night.
