I wake up the next morning from the best sleep I've had in a while. I fell asleep in Elliot's bed while he hugged me. I smile at the thought. I've never done anything even close to that with a guy before, but Elliot makes me feel safe and calm. He told me he's a werewolf and didn't care when I told him about my magic. I never thought I could care for someone like this, but here he is. I want the same relationship with Arthur. I feel like I don't know him. He's only said a few words to me. It hurts to think he doesn't want me as Elliot does. Elliot said they never wanted a mate, but Elliot changed his mind when he met me. Maybe Arthur didn't change his mind and doesn't want me here?
I look around the room. Elliot is gone but he left a note for me on the nightstand.
