The whole ceremony, Kai wouldn't leave my side. He wasn't kidding when he said he was possessive. If I moved even a foot away from him, he was pulling me back into his side. I like it though. A lot. And the way he looks at me makes me feel all hot.
Kaden disappeared for a bit. We didn't know where we went and we thought he had brought Aubrey, but then she came up to us asking if we had seen him. Max got worried and mind-linked him. We're now waiting for him outside the packhouse. He finally shows up about five minutes later, fuming. I know that face anywhere. Someone pissed him off. Big time. I lean into Aubrey.
