Last night, Mercury found out what happened to my father. I haven't thought about him in so long. I don't even know if he and my mother have survived this long as rogues. I wouldn't think so. They know nothing of how it is out there. I didn't want to do it, but he was a danger to the pack. He didn't like how Arthur and I chose to run the pack as the new Alphas and decided to retaliate. He had to have known what was going to happen. He was once the alpha, he knew better than anyone.
I turn over in the bed, expecting Mercury to be in between Arthur and I, but she's not there. Arthur is still asleep. Maybe she went to the bathroom. I look at the time.
