Prologue

"Hide" is all heard before I blacked out that day. It's all I remember my mom telling me. My mom died when I was 5 years old. I was there. Hiding in the dark while my mother lead the bad people away from me. I only remember bits and pieces of that day. I chose to block out the rest because I didn't want a reminder of my mom's death. It was my fault she died. Dad, Luca, and Santiago were out that night. It was just me and my mom watching Disney movies. Dad went to teach my brothers how to patrol the perimeter. Those rouges wanted me from the start. They wanted me because I'm special. It's my mom's dying words. The reason she sacrificed herself for me.
