Blood Crown is a high-stakes crime saga set in a brutal underworld where power is always seized, never given. Kade, a clever and calculating g**g member, emerges from the shadows of a powerful d**g syndicate to establish his own empire, upending a system based on fear and obedience. As he questions the authority of the Syndicate's mysterious leader, known as the Chairman, a hazardous game of strategy, betrayal, and survival begins. The Chairman's daughter Amara, who has a covert alliance with Kade, complicates matters. She manipulates the inner workings of her father's corporation to promote the man she has fallen in love with since she is intelligent and ambitious. From a deliberate cooperation, their relationship develops into a tumultuous love affair in which every action could be lethal and trust is brittle. As betrayal emerges from within and the Chairman closes in, Kade and Amara are forced into an all-out war for control. In a world where love is leverage and power demands sacrifice, only one question remains: who will wear the crown when the blood settles?

VOLUME 1: THE STREETS OF SURVIVAL_#PLUG_ONE
**Chapter One: The Rise of Ashes** The first time they named him "Marian," it wasn't a name but a warning. Back then, he was simply Kade. No title. No territory. No empire. Just another runner in the city's lower veins, moving powder through alleyways smelling of rust, sweat, and despair. Lagos did not slumber, but neither did it forgive in Kade's world. The Marian Syndicate controlled everything that mattered. Ports, routes, police quiet, political loyalty. Their leader—known only as The Chairman—was a man whose mere presence altered reality. Nobody spoke his true name anymore. Power had wiped it. Kade worked for them but never belonged to them. And that was the issue. His handler once flicked cigarette ash onto the floor of a warehouse full of sealed crates and said, "You think too much." "Men who overthink things either rise or vanish." Kade remained silent. Instead, he was observing the shipment. Not the crates. The security personnel. trends. timing. weaknesses. He was more than just a d**g dealer. He was researching the system. It started with a slight change. a diversion. One package was rerouted. Silently. tidy. invisible. Only an insider could make such a move. And Kade was very, very good at being invisible. He didn’t sell the product immediately. That would be sloppy. Instead, he built relationships. Independent dealers. Street captains who were tired of answering to the Syndicate. He offered them something dangerous: Freedom. And better margins. Within three months, whispers started spreading. “There’s a new supplier.” “He’s fast.” “He doesn’t answer to the Syndicate.” “No one knows his face.” The Syndicate noticed. Of course they did. They always did. ⸻ The first warning came in the form of a body. One of Kade’s contacts—strung up beneath a bridge. Hands removed. Tongue gone. A message carved into his chest: LOYALTY IS NOT OPTIONAL. Kade stared over the corpse with an inscrutable expression. What about the inside? Something shifted. Do not be afraid. Not anger. Something colder. Calculation. "They're testing you," remarked Juno, the only person who knew what Kade was building. She leaned against the automobile, arms folded, her gaze keen. "They don't realise it's you yet. But they realise something is awry." Kade crouched to examine the cuts. Clean. Professional. "No," he replied gently. "They're not testing me." He stood. "They're hunting me." Kade made a choice that night that would alter everything. He was no longer invisible. and began to become unavoidable. ⸻ The subsequent cargo did not disappear. It disappeared. Three trucks. escorts with weapons. The entire path was jeopardised. Absent. Not a single witness. There are no survivors. The Syndicate was in disarray by dawn. By midday, Kade was in charge of a million-dollar supply line. He had a name by nightfall. Marian. The Syndicate did not provide it. provided by the streets. Because it was suicide to rise from within them and defy them. Unless you were something completely else. However, attention is drawn to power. And danger comes with attention. ⸻ She entered his life at that point. Her name was Amara. And she was the one mistake he couldn’t afford to make. Kade first saw her at a private club the Syndicate used for high-level meetings. He wasn’t supposed to be there—not yet—but he had started moving closer to the core. Testing boundaries. Breaking rules without getting caught. She stood near the bar, untouched by the chaos around her. Elegant. Composed. Dangerous in a way that didn’t need weapons. She noticed him immediately. Not with surprise. With recognition. “You don’t belong here,” she said when he approached. Her voice was calm, almost amused. Kade smiled faintly. “Neither do you.” That made her laugh. And in that moment, something passed between them. not attraction. Not quite yet. Something more acute. Curiosity ⸻ "What's your name?" she enquired. "Kade." She c****d her head a little. "People aren't whispering that name." He squinted his eyes. "And what's that called?" She moved in closer. He was close enough to detect the subtle yet purposeful scent of her perfume. "Marian." There was silence between them. Then she grinned. "You're either extremely courageous or extremely foolish." Kade leaned a little closer. "Which one do you believe?" Her gaze met his. "Neither." A pause. "You seem dangerous to me." ⸻ Kade was unaware of this, as was everyone else in the inner circle: In the realm of the Syndicate, Amara was more than simply another face. She was the daughter of the Chairman. She also wanted the empire to burn for personal reasons. **Chapters Two: The Game Beneath the Game** Explosions do not cause power to move. It moves silently. In private. In betrayal. Kade was moving deeper into all three. ❻ Amara did not contact him again for a week. But she didn't do it by chance. Nothing about her ever was. ❻ "You're being watched," she added, taking a seat across from him at a quiet café far from Syndicate territory. Kade did not react immediately. He continued eating. "By who?" he enquired gently. She shot him a glare. "Don't insult me." He set down his fork. "Then don't waste my time." A little smile appeared on her lips. "Good. "That is the man I thought you were." She bent over. "My father is aware that the network is broken. He is unaware that it is you. However, he's coming near. Kade's face remained unchanged. "Why do you tell me this?" Amara looked at him. Since that was the actual query. Not the action she was taking. However, why? "Because I don't want him to find you," she responded slowly. ⸻ Kade chuckled softly. "That's intriguing." She questioned, "And why is that?" "Because I don't recall requesting protection." Her gaze became more focused. "You're not being protected." A pause. "You have a chance." ⸻ The actual game started at that point. Amara wasn't trying to assist. She was granting entry. Details. schedules for movement. internal disputes. weak ties among the leadership of the Syndicate. She knew everything. Because she had grown up inside the machine. ⸻ “Why are you doing this?” Kade asked one night as they stood on a rooftop overlooking the city. Amara didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she looked out at the skyline. “My father built something powerful,” she said. “Something untouchable.” She turned to him. “But power like that doesn’t change.” A beat. “It rots.” ⸻ Kade watched her carefully. “And you want to fix it?” Her smile was faint. “No.” Another pause. “I want to replace it.” ⸻ That was the moment Kade realized something important. Amara wasn’t a pawn. She wasn’t even a player. She was a strategist. ⸻ And she had chosen him. ⸻ But trust? Trust was something else entirely. ⸻ “You’re asking me to go to war,” Kade said. Amara met his gaze. “No.” A quiet breath. “I’m asking you to win one.” The first focus was internal. Bello, a Syndicate lieutenant, is loyal, harsh, and dangerously ambitious. Amara fed Kade everything. Routes. Guards. Habits. Kade did not attack Bello directly. This would be expected. Instead, he disassembled him. Shipping losses. Money disparities. Rumours are carefully planted. Within two weeks, Bello was under suspicion. Within three days, the Syndicate executed him. ❻ Kade did not pull the trigger. He could as well have. ⸻ Amara watched everything unfold with quiet enjoyment. "You see?" she enquired. "You don't fight the system." "You make it destroy itself." ⸻ However, every move had consequences. ⸻ Because the Chairman was not a man to lose control easily. “You think this is random?” he said during a private meeting with his inner circle. His voice was calm. But calm, in his case, was more dangerous than anger. “No,” he continued. “This is intentional.” He looked around the room. “Someone is inside.” And just like that— The hunt changed direction.
