I took steps away from Francis. "What's going on here?"
"Enough Aurora," Marco said, getting up and walking towards us.
I was still confused.
" The whispers, the scent... "
" I was never close to you Aurora, " he replied, cutting me short. " You still have a lot to learn about your senses. But you passed the first test and I'm impressed."
Marco was a man that rarely smiled but one slowly formed across his face.
" Thank you master, " I muttered, looking away from him only to lock eye with Francis. His hands were on his neck but he was quickly recovering from the attack.
" Great job Aurora, " he said, turning and walking away.
" Wait," I called, making him to come to a halt. " Thank you too Francis."
He turned around to face Marco." I hope she makes it to the Gauntlet. W
