It was a week and a day now, making it eight days without setting my eyes on Rex. It was the weekend as well, and I was going to be having the night shift.
Kanu and Kiana wouldn't stop asking about Rex. And it was such an adorable name to give the man who they least expected to be their biological father.
Kiana preferred calling him "Chocolate friend" because he had bought them chocolates for them the different times he had met them.
Maybe if they could stop talking about him and asking about him, it would have been easier for me to forget about him again, but no, they kept on talking about him.
