"I am not going to marry you!" She was all but certain, looking at him with defensiveness in her eyes. "You don't have the right to refuse." His voice was so flat that there was no hint of emotion. "Why do you want to marry me? Do you have feelings for me?" She looked confusedly into Armondo's eyes wrapped in frost and snow. He did not answer. Instead, she understood what he meant. "No." She wouldn't want a marriage with no name. "What are you pretending to be pure for," he gently hooked her chin, "last night, didn't I already break your virginity?" She slapped his hand away in annoyance. "You bastard!" A faint smile came out from under his eyes. "Weren't you the one who took the initiative to climb into my bed?" She choked instantly. Frozen, she retorted, "I told you, I was in the wrong room then." "But I still f****d you." His words were so explicit and flirtatious that she blushed, but had no way to refute them. "Think about it, without me, you'd still be in prison." She gritted her teeth. In this instant, she remembered a lot of things. The ashes that were poured in the food bowl, Yuki who was loyal, and her mother who died tragically three years ago. Each one was tied up, and she couldn't just collapse. "What is your request?" She asked, tilting her head. "To sleep with, other than that, nothing comes to mind at the moment." She wanted to slap him in the face, but the second before she did, she thought of the faces of the Field Family and said with hatred. "I promise you." She said it through gritted teeth. Armondo, on the other hand, looked like he had a good chance of winning, having already predicted her to do so. "Sanjay, show her to her room." He snapped his fingers. A man stepped out of the shadows and respectfully led her back to her room. The room was small, simply furnished, and had an understated luxury. Compared to the empty room at Field Family, instead this room, which she had been in for less than ten minutes, made her feel more secure. "If you have any questions, just ring the call bell by the bed." The servant named Sanjay was very kind and looked very nice. She quickly adapted to the environment. When she left the prison, she took her belongings and put them in the bag she had with her. Only her cell phone, wallet and keys, that was all she had. Opening her phone, she realized there were several missed calls on it. They were all from Robert. This was a first. As far as she could remember, he had never called her on his own initiative. She called back. "Callista, you've been bailed out?" She gave a careless hmm. "Where are you? Dad wants to see you for a minute." ...... In the cafe, she stirred her spoon in boredom. Across the table, her father, who had been watching the situation, hesitated for a long time before asking. "Callista, do you remember this store?" She didn't even lift her head. "Yes, it was the first store you brought me to." He actually wanted to play the emotion card, so, wasn't he afraid that it would turn his stomach? "Yeah, you were just a little bit older then, and now you've grown into a wonderful big girl." At that, she gave a cold laugh in her heart. "Dad, you might as well say something straight." Robert saw that she didn't seem to be disgusted, before he spoke cautiously. "Is Armondo really your boyfriend?" She knew that was what he was after. "Sort of." "His assets are over a hundred billion, you do know that, right?" Callista looked at her father with a smirk and didn't answer. He had hoped his daughter would be more sensible, but she wouldn't take his words, so he could only continue with a stiff upper lip. "Dad's company is having a debt crisis, can you get him to invest in the company?" She took a sip of coffee without much reaction. "Callista!" Robert was clearly anxious. "How much is the loss?" "One billion ......." Robert's voice was getting fainter and fainter. She let out a cold grunt from her throat. "Now, why don't you say that the billion was embezzled by me?" Her heart was already in shock, but her face was calm and did not show half of it. "Callista, you have to understand Daddy's bitterness." "Heh, bitterness?" She had thought at first that Rose had set her up. Only at this moment did she confirm what she thought. Robert was also aware of this matter, and the two of them, father and daughter, had joined forces to trap themselves. They needed someone to take the blame. "Half of the registered assets, did you go and dip into something?" This money disappeared for no reason, there must be an inside story. "It's not Dad's reason, you know, business is not good now ......" Again with the excuses. She squeezed the spoon in her hand tightly. Three years ago, my mother "accidentally" fell down. She found it in time to take her mother to the nearest hospital. After the emergency, there was a series of surgeries, and she was really out of ammunition. She called her father over and over again. He didn't pick up. At first, she was able to console herself that her father was busy with his work. Finally, her father simply turned off his phone. Desperate, she ran to her father's office, only to be stopped at the door by the secretary. Then, hiding in the shadows, she watched her father enter the hotel with a woman in his arms. She tried to stop her father, but was thrown out by the hotel staff. Without money for surgery, her mother died tragically in the hospital. Her tears dried up. That year, she was seventeen years old, her senior year of high school. He did not come to her mother's funeral. Later, when she was taken home, she confronted her father. Her father just lazily excused himself, "I was busy." That was the last thing he did to his mother. That day, the desperation of calling her father over and over again came back to her. She broke the thin spoon in her hand in half. "Callista?" Robert called out to her tentatively. "Without that asset, the company must have collapsed, right?" "Ugh, there's nothing Dad can do about it ......" "Yeah, I'll help you." She drank the coffee in her cup in one go. "Really?" Robert was overjoyed, "Dad knew it, you'll always be a good daughter to Dad!" "Yes." Her soft little hand gripped her father's big hand. Looking at Callista's face with a taciturn smile, he was surprised to see a hint of fear. "Callista, when the company gets through, Dad will definitely make it up to you." She lowered her eyelids, hiding the mockery under her eyes. "If you want to make amends, you can do it now." Robert froze. This daughter had always been the most sensible, and she would never have made such a request before. He rolled his eyes. "Dad will transfer five percent of the shares to your name." "It's not enough." Her terse refusal made him flinch. "Ten percent, no more." She puffed out a smile. "Dad, I don't want your share." Robert breathed a sigh of relief. "After all, I already have fifty percent of the shares." He froze and almost didn't jump. "Callista, you don't want a heart to swallow a snake!" She laughed as she bit into the broken half of the spoon, "My money bought the shares, so why shouldn't they be mine?" Robert was so angry he slapped the table. "b***h, this is my company!" Hearing his curse, she didn't even blink, but in her heart she sneered: so soon ...... sulked, what should we play next? "That depends on your choice, do you want to surrender your rights, or go bankrupt and go to jail?"
