The scene in the company's lobby caught people's attention because Williams was known for being strict and a hard nut to c***k around ladies. Moreover, Stephanie loved Williams, so people started to feel pity for Madison.
Madison sniffed after downpouring her tears on Williams's suit, she stepped back and bowed. "I'm sorry for yelling at you, I'm just not doing well, and I'm frustrated."
Williams nodded and gave her his handkerchief and business card. "Take this, you might need it."
Madison collected them and bowed again before turning to leave.
"Find out everything about her." Williams told Parker as he watched Madison drag herself out of the company.
"Why sir?" Parker asked.
"There's something different about her. I want to know more."
Stephanie hit the table at her office whilst watching the now-trending video of Williams Farren and Madison Charity in her company's lobby.
"Who is this b***h??" She yelled in utter frustration and jealousy.
Mabelle, her secretary, flinched in fear. "She… She's the lady that came over for the interview earlier."
Stephanie passed the tablet to Mabelle and stood to face the view of the city. "Get me details about her, fast."
She wanted Williams for herself and no one else. No one has the right to share him with her, no one at all.
"Sir?" Parker called as he watched Williams sign some documents. They had gone to Miller's for some business meeting. Williams wanted to see Stephanie but ended up watching the whole embarrassing scene between Stephanie and Madison.
Williams answered without looking up for once. "Yes? What is it?"
"Why did you give that lady your card? Why did you hug her?"
Williams stopped working and dropped his pen before turning his swivel chair to face Parker. "Are you questioning me right now?"
"No, no. I'm just wondering why you did that."
Williams sighed and crossed his arms. "Cause everyone deserves another chance."
Julianna was in the living room when Madison burst into the house looking sullen. "Hey, what's wrong?"
Madison sighed before sitting on the couch. "I couldn't get the job, I didn't even get interviewed.'
"Why?"
"Apparently, I'm dirty trash."
Julianna scoffed. "It was Stephanie, right? She's really a crazy b***h. Should I just go fight her for you?"
Madison sighed. "Just stop it. I was delusional thinking I could get an office job. I'll go beg Mr Mavins tomorrow to get me a job."
"You know what? Let's go clubbing tonight," Julianna announced. "Let's have fun!!!!"
"Count me out!!" Madison retorted. "I'm too tired to go anywhere Julie."
Julianna rolled her eyes. "Who knows? We might find a rich guy for you at the club who will fall over heels in love with you. Just chill and have fun."
Madison sighed. "Alright, let's do it. But, you're not dolling me up, definitely not."
{INFLUENZA CLUB}
The club was brimming with people in different outfits, a lot of half-naked ladies were around, smoke filled the air while the men were reeking of alcohol and rum.
As Julianna and Madison walked into the club, all eyes were on them cause of Madison. She was clad in a short sexy red dress, her long curly hair was packed to the side, she was looking really hot.
"They're all looking at you." Julianna whispered into Madison's ears. "Go girl! You got a pretty body!"
Madison rolled her eyes and walked stylishly to the bar area to get a drink. "Pepsi please."
"Uhm, we don't serve that here?" The bartender said.
"Then what do you serve?"
"Beer, alcohol, whiskey..." He counted.
Madison stopped him. "Don't worry." She looked back, but Julianna was nowhere to be found anymore, so she just decided to stay somewhere quiet. She walked into one of the private lounges. It was dark, so she couldn't really see, but as she made to sit, she found herself sitting on someone's lap.
She quickly stood up and looked carefully, it was the man who patted her back to Miller's company lobby hours ago.
"You." She gasped.
Williams sighed. "Who are..." He stopped and looked carefully at her. "Madison Charity?"
"How did you get to know my name?" Madison asked as she settled at the other side of the lounge. "I don't remember introducing myself."
Williams smirked before taking his whiskey. "I have my way. Do you care for whiskey?"
"No, I don't drink." She rejected.
"Then what are you doing in a place like this?" Williams asked as his eyes roamed her body. She was looking so hot that he found it hard to control himself. He always had self-control around ladies, but he didn't know why she was so attractive to him, she smelled nice too.
"Well, my bestie wanted to have fun and here I am." She sighed. "Why did you comfort me earlier?"
Williams sighed. "Why does everyone keep asking me this question? Would you have preferred it if I didn't?"
"No, thank you." She stood and bowed. "I didn't get to apologize properly."
Williams stared at her for some seconds before replying. "Come sit next to me."
Madison was grateful, so she complied. Williams turned and faced her. "Let's have fun tonight."
"Fun?" Madison gasped. "You must think I'm some careless b***h you could hire."
Williams held her by the waist. "No, i don't think so. I think it's crazy that i met you only hours ago, and I'm going crazy for you. I think it's crazy that i find you really attractive and want to spend time with you. I think it's crazy that i want to stay by your side and help you," he said, while holding her tightly by the waist. Madison was astounded, so she couldn't move. She kept staring at him while the only sound that was audible was the sound of their breaths.
Williams moved closer to her, for once, he wanted to give in and, for once, he felt safe around a lady. He drew her closer, and maintained eye contact with her. "I think I am going crazy only for you."
