Brutal journey

It's 3:57 AM, sitting on my bed, holding my dearest phone in my both hands, my mind took me on a wishful thinking troll. "knowing you're daddy's girl along with clueless about your career. where the heck my life is going. at this point my head is haywire. my dad thinks I'm going to aquire a prestigious nation's police job, and here I'm lurking for numerous options. what should I become? living a life being, burden on your siblings the only earners of our family. hah I should start applying for jobs! Ok yes that's decided now." I took a deep breath went towards kitchen looking for some snacks to eat ' "~yeah I know so much for career? keep it real dude" hold I can make noodles, it's in that black bag' I tip-toed into my brother's room. yes the black bag full of snacks is his. Note:- this boy is very territorial with his food. rest is crystal clear. I stole, cooked and ate. enjoying the delicious aroma to it's full. At 7am. this thing in my hands called phone decided to blink up. "DAVID & DAVIDSON GROUP!" I mumble surprised, ok! now i remember, I applied for a job here, but never expected a response. see "The trouble with unemployment is that the minute you wake up in the morning you're on the job (house job)." however, Is this a blessing in disguise for waking up in c***k of the dawn. I replied their response and accepted the job interview offer with alacrity. I have to make it on this upcoming Monday. today is Saturday, I was only thinking wether I should already break the news to everyone or after the positive results? ' I have this optimistic personality so I'm sure result is in my favour.' I guess I'll go with later one. I hope avidity for earning comes automatically with this job line. finally, I took my lazy ass out of my very comfy blanket, I did my morning routine. consequently moved towards backyards, where 4 members of my family are having their breakfast, with tea and sunny omlet complimented by crispy sandwiches. "GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!" I yelled a little too Loud for my own ears " why did none of you wake me up. hm?" I said giving my mom back hug aligned with a cheek kiss. a smile took place on her face. " because you were already awake, and was just pretending to be still in sleep". my younger brother sarcastically busted. whose hoodie stated 'Me, Sarcastic?. Never!' note the contradictions. " And don't you ever dare again to steal from MY Snack Bag, I know you took noodles, I saw its wrapper in dustbin" he fretted out with added complain, looking at the lady of the house,"Mom tell her!" my mom chuckled ' she is so sweet' but answered him " you can always buy new Jake." "ofcourse I can," he interrupted while keeping his eyes on me "so does she. just do some job and start earning already." he stated with his challenging gaze. 'too much of Good. Morning' (sarcasm!) “Unemployment is a capitalism's way of getting you to plant a garden and as long as I remember. I watered this whole garden where you have pasted your ass right now, and yeah Job." I sneered and took my chance to bring the shine out in the heaven,"I received a job offer today from ' David & Davidson group'. on Monday, I have this job interview, then joining." I announced. Now from the very first time the older version of my brother, manifested his concern. " what job? do you even know if company is genuine or not, listen little girl you just focus on your studies and become a government official. no need to go for these private companies. there is no job certainty In such. we know what's good for you" he commanded. well was I baffled? yes. the way my father joins the conversation is markable. No one utters a single word when he is talking. but the queen my elder sibling offered her side of piece." dad it's been four years. since she started her preperation for government exams. apparently, it's turning out in nothing, or you can say a dead end. so let her try this. atleast, she would be doing something in her life. if not money then knowledge and working experience. she'll gain something there is nothing to loose." the calm nerve of this girl. I look at my Father. boy! the marveled expressions named it all. no doubt! he is considering to allow me to do this job. Hazel looked at me, "And you! listen, after the interview. if, you get selected. ask them , about holidays, working hours, paid leave, joining offer letter, and if you don't use your leaves for the given year. what would happen to those leaves?, they'd be adjoined in next year's, or will be useless, and about salary, will you be getting it in cash or in bank account. in conjunction if they go for bank whose responsiblity would it be to open your salary account? theirs or yours?. ASK them every single thing. you don't need to be hesitant. okay". she finished with a stern smile. "okay. I'll keep that in my mind." I returned her smile and join them on breakfast. something really good is calling me. I hope this gut feeling sticks there for a long time.
