after roughly an hour of talking to my mermaid and pacing round my room. i decided to stay to see the triplets reaction as my mermaid had told me. i forgot to tell you mae. our powers are boosted by emotions. for instance, and angry or scared mermaid is 5 times more powerful than an angry or scared alpha. which also means they cannot use their alpha tone on you. they cannot force you to stay, with power or strength. the only way you would stay is if the mate bond changes them. and of course if they try to follow you. you can survive in the water and escape them for the rest of your life. though of course, if you haven't rejected them by then it would take an emotional and physical toll on both of us. i could always run if i wanted to. and that led me to the decision that i would stay until they proved to me that they were worthy of me and my mermaid. i wondered if i would ever tell them. maybe they would find out anyway. then i wondered something. stella? yes mae? whats my rank as a mermaid, and what are my powers? also, will i turn into a mermaid everytime i touched water?? oh, in the mermaid ranks we have the same as werewolf's. though they do not know that we existed first. you, are lucky enough to be an alpha. in the mermaid world. the alpha is always female. the mermaids do not have mates unless they have a werewolf or other creature. they find love purely through interacting. no bond. though inner mermaids know immediately if you have a mate. though we wont know who it is till you find. you being an alpha also mean that when you are angry or scared you can be 50 times stronger and more powerful than a werewolf alpha. as for your powers. you, are the only stellar mermish being, which means you have the powers of the sun. light, heat and creation, as the light of the sun gave life to many things. the light and heat powers pretty much explain themselves, you can use light and fire. the light power also means you can manipulate what people see which also means you can turn invisible. the heat is the hottest flames. blue flames. ( note from creator, yes, my inspiration for that power was dabi from mha ) both of those powers are only given to stellar merpeople of the highest rank and only one stellar merperson is born every 1000 years. now. the creation power, it basically means you can make anything physical that you imagine. real . you can also change how people think about a something for up to 10 minutes, though there is ofcourse a limit. you can only use your creation power for up to 1 hour a day. so i would use it as a last resort. one thing you must always keep in mind is to hide your identity. if someone finds out? you must either use your creation power to erase their memory. or you are doomed. people will experiment on you and breed you with many species. which brings me to my last answer. no, you can choose when to shift, though you can only shift in the water. of course if your shifted, your powers become stronger and you can use your creation quirk for up to 2 hours. well mae. i hope this answers all your questions?  i stood there with my mouth gaping open in pure and utter shock. stellar.. creation... fire... time limit..power.. water increasing it.. secrets.. well i had always been good at those. that would hopefully be alright. i tried to pull myself together and jolted forward. i was going to bed now.. or should i? would just a peek of one of my mates be to much to ask? should i risk just one sniff. i would be and out and it would be really calming for me and of course stella. i decided to do it. and tiptoes towards Jacksons room. the calmest and safest of the alpha triplets. if he woke up, it would not be nearly as bad as being caught in jake or jasons rooms.
