20. Severe Case of Blue-balls.

Dante. A wave of anger surges through me as I stare at the annoying Johannesburg Princess. In all my years, and numerous encounters with women of every kind, I have never met a woman who could get my temper burning as quickly as Raven. Even more exasperating is how little control I have over my body when it comes to her. For f**k's sake, I have been with women far lovelier and certainly better behaved, but none of them have eroded my self control or ignited my desire the way Raven did. I am supposed to despise her, bring about her complete and utter humiliation and yet, here I am, offering to give her a lift and having to watch her throw my offer back in my face. Foolish woman. A valet handed me my car keys, and I take it without taking my eyes off her. Even acting like a spoiled little brat, she still looks utterly stunning and my groin responded accordingly, much to my disgust. I grit my teeth and move closer, each step slow and intimidating and I get the satisfaction of seeing her eyes widen in alarm. "Get. In. the. Damn. Car." I growl, enunciating each word slowly and deliberately. I flex my shoulder muscles, prepared to carry out my threat if she resists again. I watch as she hesitates, apparently alarmed at the way things are going. She glances around, noticing the small crowd watching the drama, some even holding up their cellphones to take pictures. She bites her lips nervously, I have to fight the urge to kiss her right there and then. Maybe taking her home is a stupid idea. Still, I've said I would and damned if I don't. Watching her intently, I know the exact moment she makes her decision, the defeated slump of her bare shoulders tells me she is going to concede to his demand. "Fine then." she snaps. "I'll get in.” She stalks to the black Mercedes, wrenching the passenger door open and slid in, making sure to slam the door shut with enough force to rattle the windows. She crosses her arms over her chest and stares straight ahead, jaw clenched in fury, the very act causing a smile on my face. She looks like a child who have just been denied a lollipop. So damn cute. I frown at the thought. What the hell is up with this cute nonsense? I dismiss the thought, crossing to the driver's side quickly, in case she changes her mind. Adalee clears her throat, reminding me she is still there. I swear under my breath and turn to see her glaring at raven. "Thanks for dinner, Adalee," I rush out and she aims a disappointed look my way. "I thought we were going somewhere? Why do you have to drop her off anyway? What are you even doing right now? It makes no sense." She asks with clenched teeth, as if trying to understand why I have decided to forget about the initial mission I am here for just to drop the enemy’s child off. I'm still asking myself the same damn question. "She's…" I search for an appropriate word other than a pain in the ass. "uhm, it’s just a part of it all, you understand?” This answer didn't satisfy Adalee. Her eyes narrows to slits, lips clamped in anger. "I see." She whirls around and stomps in a huff, towards her own waiting car. I watch her go and wonder if I need his head examined for letting an evening with potential mission go to waste. Father will definitely think so if he ever hears about what just happened. I picture the look of horror that would cross my foster father’s face, quickly followed by a lecture on stupidity and I shiver. I slide into my seat, my grin widening when Raven scoots to the very edge of her seat to avoid any contact. "You really are a despicable man," she says, glaring at me. "You talk about being a man of your word and yet, you just dismissed your date like she means nothing to you. How two-faced.” "It was a just a business dinner. She means nothing to me." I shrug and pull out into the street. I can feel her eyes searing holes into the side of my skull. "Are you serious? She's a human being, for your information, and considering how you were practically making love to her with your eyes at dinner, I'd say she definitely means something. Stop decieving yourself, please." "Were you watching me?" "No," The denial comes swiftly, though the tinge of heightened color in her cheeks told me otherwise. "In case you failed to notice, I had a date of my own." "Oh I noticed. He must not be a very good date though." I reply with a smirk. "I beg your pardon?" Raven asks in bewilderment just as I pull up at a red light and turn to look at her. "The chemistry between the two of you was all wrong. You barely touched him all evening and you couldn't keep your eyes off me. If he satisfied you in bed, you would be unable to keep your eyes and hands off him." Her gasp of outrage makes me grin even wider. "Why you-you-" She splutters, struggling to find the right insult to throw at me. But I did not give her time to think. I lean over, pressing my lips to hers in the lightest of caresses. My senses explodes at the taste of her lips, nearly comes undone. She gasps, and I take advantage, sliding hmy tongue into her mouth, tasting, stroking, exploring. I am gratified when she responds, her own tongue tangling with mine in a dance of lust, deepening the kiss, desire now a raging inferno that threatened to consume us. For one, sweet moment, I loose myself in the kiss. I forget this is supposed to be a test, forget that he am trying to prove a point, my senses floods with the delicious sensations. Needing to touch her, I bring my hand to her breast, lightly palming the soft flesh through her clothes. Raven responds with a moan, arching into my touch, silently begging for more. I feel her n****e, harden to a nub and brush his thumb over it, enjoying the sweet little moans she makes in my mouth, sounds that go straight to my already hard and throbbing d**k. As though reading hmy thoughts, Raven's hand trailed over my thighs, coming to rest between my legs. Her fingers closes over my length, and he almost lost it like a teenager on his first time. He dragged his lips from hers, and every cell in my body protesting the move, removes her hand. Her eyes flutters open, liquid blue eyes staring at me, hazy with lust and confusion. I school hismy features to appear cool, mocking, even when I feel the exact opposite. raven takes in my expression and her eyes widens in horror. She flushes and shrinks away from me, hatred and humiliation replacing the lust. "You bastard," she hisses, trembling from the force of her emotions. "You played me.” The light turns green and I return my attention to the road. "I was merely proving a point." I say as I feign a nonchalant attitude, while my body rages with the need to have her, to drive her to my place instead and finish what we have started. "There has to be chemistry between a man and a woman for a relationship to work, and there is none between you and inspector." "I hate you!" She declares, fingers clenched into fist as she stares straight ahead, body tense like a tightly coiled spring. "No, you don't." I counter. "Don't play childish games, Raven, it doesn't suit you." She says nothing, merely stares ahead in stony silence, until I pull into her area. Then, she gathers her purse and bolts without a word as though there are wild dogs after her, not sparing me another glance. I sigh, frustrated and annoyed at myself as I continue on to my house. Tonight is going to end in a cold shower and a severe case of blue balls. And to think I had turned down a chance to be with a willing woman simply because Raven had flashed those eyes at me. What a damn fool I am.
