"THANK you, Vhonn," I told him sincerely as I unbuckled the seatbelt when he stopped his car near the gate.
"You are always welcome, Wren," he answered.
I opened the door and stepped out, then shut it close. Vhonn was beaming, and I swore my heart pumped so fast. His smile made the butterflies in my stomach go wild. I was not sure, but I also thought my cheeks turned red as I felt the heat rising.
"Can I fetch you after school?" I heard him ask, making me come back to my senses from sinking into a daze.
