Ben's POV
My guilt has been eating me for being one to suggest homeschooling Boon. My parents had the final say but I did feed them with the idea.
It appeared to be the best option at first but I gradually regretted it. These past months, Boon hasn't laughed. He hasn't played along with Brad's teasing and stupid antics. He hasn't asked to go to dogs parks or cat cafes. Though he is allergic to both animals, he would still insist on seeing them armed with his allergy shots.
I'm currently on a business trip in Japan. I've been here for two weeks and tomorrow morning is my flight back home to Thailand.
Brad told me on the phone that Boon has become better, slowly gaining back his weight, color appearing more on his face, his hollowed eyes starting to brighten once more.
