A thousand years

I see his shadow approaching, every step he takes makes me want to turn on my heels and run away but my legs are weak his shadow keeps enclosing in on me he's suddenly so close to me that I feel his breath on my face, i feel his hands on my neck he throws me to the wall with great force I collapse to the floor I plead with him to spare my life, suddenly he turns his back to me and his shadows start to disappear into the thick Forest, all I see now is darkness I heave a sigh of relief I try getting up but my legs are weak, I lay there waiting for help. _______________________________________ I wake up to the buzzing of the clock, I leaped from the bed my eyes on the digital bed side clock that blinked 9:00, am supposed to be at work by 9:20, I scramble off the bed and trip to the floor I get up and rush to the bathroom I pick up my toothbrush and start brushing I get my shower gel and wash sponge I turn on faucet of my bathtub, I step in. Once done with the shower I put on my bra with shorts, my blouse and skirt, and sandal's I Knott my hair into a bun, I pick up my purse and exit my second floor apartment, I rush to my car opened the door and jumped in the driver's seat I turned the key to the ignition and drove off the parking lot into the highway swerving pass cars. I arrive at work ten minutes late, rehearsals are about to start, the director shouts at me to join the queue for the rehearsals to commence
