I exist to preserve balance in the universe.
Humans are a direct threat to that balance. And they are coming.
Absi and I have been sent to scout GMP3, known to the inhabitants as Earth. Our mission: to observe human behavior and report back strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. As part of the universe, we are malleable, sentient beings who can take any form, share any mind, and hide in plain sight. Humans call us dark matter. We do not promote good or evil. We maintain equilibrium.
As we descend to Earth through a hole in the ozone layer, my partner’s question enters my consciousness.
