Suffice it to say, Nick felt like crap when he woke up the next day to Cal walking on his chest. His head was spinning and his throat was dry. For some reason, he had no shirt on under the covers. He was a mess, and he felt like it. “Cal, move.” His voice was rough as he lifted the cat off of him. The sun was already out, barely seeping in through his blackout curtains. Never in his life had he been more thankful he decided to buy blackout curtains for his bedroom. Nick groggily felt under the pillows for his phone and glasses, before finding them on his bedside drawer. He checked the time: 11 AM. It was almost noon.
