There was this park a couple of blocks away from Nick’s apartment. It was near a small bridge, situated almost at the center of the city. For years, Nick had lived in its vicinity, but he had only been there twice. He never really knew what one does in a park. He was aware that it was a spot for families, friends, and lovers to gather and socialize. Relationships he'd never really had nor cared to have had, so he had never had a reason to take a casual stroll in the park.
