I forgive, but after punishment
Alexander’s P.O.V.
"You took everything from me. Now it’s my turn." Looking at the picture on the wall, I felt a surge of emotions. Cruelty flashed in my eyes.
"I have waited for 11 years. Now it’s time to pay for what you did." I muttered, touching the picture gently. It has been 11 years since I discovered the harsh reality of their deaths, and since that day, I have never slept peacefully. I worked hard, gained strength, and now the moment for seeking revenge has arrived.
"Your daughter is very dear to you, isn't she? Now I will hurt her; just wait and watch." A fire burned in my chest, which had only one way to extinguish it, and that was revenge. A week ago, I found out that she is currently residing in Australia, so I didn’t waste my time and land here. Once I found her, I was going to give her a painful death in front of her father.
A knock on the door took me out of the painful phase.
“Come in.” I ordered, and my special man ‘Rook’ entered.
"Did you find out about her? Where is she?" I asked with a cold face.
“No, sir." His voice staggered. At his denial, my eyes were bloodshot, my jaws clenched, and I stared at the door with cold eyes. “But soon, we will find her.”
"So, what are you doing here?" I commanded, pressing the cigar to my lips and releasing its smoke into the air. The only ghost riding on my head was the revenge I wanted to take.
“We traced John’s personal guard. He is at the bar.” He said that, and a sarcastic smile appeared on my lips.
"Those who give me pain incur their death. Let’s go." I declared and made my way outside. Within few minutes, we reached there.
The cool night air hit me as I stepped out of my luxury car.
Dressed in impeccably tailored tuxedo, I strode into the grand main hall of the bar. My confident and dignified manner caught the attention of everyone present. Heads turned one after another, drawn to the spectacle I created, until finally, all eyes were focused on me, unable to look away.
I know that there was something about me that commanded attention, an aura of power and authority that emanated from my presence. With each step, the ticking of my black shoe resounded through the hall, a constant reminder of my Dominance. I made my way towards a table and took a seat, crossing my legs in a relaxed manner. Four guards, all with guns, stood behind me.
“Hey why you sit here.” As I sat on table, man was impatient, his tone filled with accusation and urgency. I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Who gave you permission to question me?" I demanded, my words laced with authority.
"You hid your face. Who are you?" He was a little scared now. The room fell silent, waiting for my response.
"Actually I need something from you." I stared and saw him with pity while I was still busy with my hobby, swinging my feet badly as my black stick continued to tick on the cold floor.
“W..what?” He staggered, finding out what was going on. Ah poor man.
“I need your job.” I chuckled and his mouth fell open. Amused by his reaction, I bowed toward him and whispered.
“And for that, you have to resign, resign from your life.” With a composed demeanor, I picked up that stick, raised my eyes, and saw his scared face. My ocean blue eyes held an enigmatic blend of calmness and coldness, a mysterious combination that struck those who observed me as peculiar.
A chilling smile spread across my lips as I raised my stick, directing its deadly intent towards him. In a swift and merciless instant, the individual collapsed to the ground, his white shirt now saturated with blood. Meanwhile, the smile etched on my lips only deepened, casting a sinister shadow upon my countenance.
How did that bullet come out of my black stick? Maybe no one there had the answer, and that was the special thing about that dawn in the dark world.
“Oh I got the job.” I chuckled coldly.
There was fear in the magnificent hall of the bar, so much so that the faces of the people standing there were white with fear. That hall was drowned in laughter before my arrival, and now there was fear.
Fear! That was the characteristic of my personality!
Fear! That I liked!
The same fear that I used to instill in others because of my presence!
I got up from the chair. The empty hall echoed with a sense of foreboding, as if it knew what was about to transpire. I stood alone, surrounded by an invisible wall of hostility. The hundreds of faces glaring at me were filled with venomous intent, their eyes burning with a desire for my demise. They wanted to kill me, but despite all this, not a trace of fear could be seen on my face.
I liked to see others in fear, there was no one born who could frighten me.
I was Alexander, undoubtedly, an attractive person that if one saw me once, he would probably think about me hundreds of times! But I was so dangerous and cruel that no one dared to speak in front of me.
“I forgive, but after punishment.” I chuckled and moved towards the sixth floor, the sound of laughter grows louder, mingling with the melody of joyous chatter.
