After the phone call finally died down, Levi grabbed the phone and began to scroll through it. Kel still continued to send me annoyed glances and I waited for Levi to be done with what he was up to.
Levi typed on the phone and read aloud. "Hey, mom. Sorry I couldn't pick your call. The market's very noisy right now. Will call you later." He paused to look at Kel. "I had to check how you send your messages, so it won't be unsimilar. I can't have your mother finding anything out now."
