The day of Luke's discharge from the hospital finally arrived, six weeks after the accident. I arrived early in the morning, my heart brimming with excitement and nervous energy. As I entered his room, I found him sitting on the edge of the bed, dressed in his own clothes for the first time in weeks. "Well, don't you look handsome," I said, smiling as I approached him. Luke looked up, his face lighting up at the sight of me. "Bella! I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about me." I laughed, leaning in to kiss him softly. "As if I could ever forget about you.
