The door opened, and Jason stepped in, looking handsome in clean clothes, his hair still damp from a recent shower. He was holding a small bouquet of wildflowers. "Wow," he said softly as he saw me. "You look beautiful." I felt myself blush. "Thanks. You clean up pretty well yourself." Jason held out the flowers. "These are for your mom. Do you think she'll like them?" I took the bouquet, touched by his thoughtfulness. "She'll love them. Thank you, Jason."
