Before I could lift my head upwards, I was approached by a smiling doctor who told me that I had been in a coma for the past six months.
"I am glad that you are well and back to your normal health," the doctor informed me before leaving me to go and attend to other patients.
I couldn't clearly remember what had happened during the past few months nor could I remember how I had ended up in the hospital.
I was just glad that I was finally back in the real world.
"My dear child," my mother, Elena Carlisle rushed towards my side to hug me.
I could see the love in her eyes and I could see how pleased she was to know that I was finally out of coma.
