Challenge Day

It's the day Ted and Trent fight for the right to mate me, I'm so angry, how does this make sense to anyone here, I'm Ted's mate....Ted's not Trent's. Trent must have a mate somewhere out there, I'm sure even bastards like him are granted a mate, the goddess is a fair, loving being, she must've created his other half. He needs to go find her and leave Ted and I alone, I'm currently in my bed staring at the ceiling and stewing in my own anger. I don't know how the hell Ted is sleeping so peaceful next to me, I'm laying here having high blood pressure and a small stroke and his ass is sleeping. " If you keep laying there steaming like that the bed will catch fire Letti " I damn near choke on my own spit, when did he wake up, his eyes aren't even open. Almost like he heard my thoughts he said " how can I sleep when my fiance is next to me literally radiating anger and heat? " he sighs and props himself up on 1 elbow turning towards me " baby relax, I'll be fine " I released a shaky breath " there's no way you know that for sure Ted " He adjusted himself and pulled me into his arms, he kissed my forehead " I'll be fine, now cuddle with me some more before I have to go whip Phips's ass " I giggle at the vision that crosses my mind and snuggled up to him, closed my eyes and let his citrusy scent envelop me. In about half of an hour we got up, got ready, had a quiet breakfast, put Shadow's leash on and piled in the truck to head to the pack house and meet up with who all else was going to witness this challenge happen.

We assembled in front of the packhouse, when we took a head count we had about 80 pack members, including Alpha Thomas, Luna Christie, Rick and I, even my disgusting parents were in attendance, honestly I think they just wanted to see where I'd end up, the bastards were probably rooting for Trent. We took off on foot, some of the pack members were in wolf form, we arrived at the field between the two packs around 11am, Trent was already there, his Beta and Gamma were there with him and literally no one else, his pack really didn't come to show him any support at all " wow!" Rick said as he looked over at Trents part of the field. " Levi.....we are just waiting for the elders to arrive from the council and then we can get this fight on the road " Ted nodded and they shook hands. The elders had arrived and while Ted was stretching they highlighted the rules of the challenge " knock out or submission counts as a win, there will be no weapons used, no silver or wolfsbane allowed, the decision made by the elders is final, there will be no 2nd chances and no rematches ", " this challenge is for the right to mate 1 Leticia Summers, rightful fated mate of Ted Levi and chosen mate of Trent Phips, after the challenge has been completed Miss Summers is to immediately leave with the winner " Ted growled lowly while Trent smiled broadly...the asshole, I huffed and walked over to Ted, who was still stretching, I held out my hand and he held it and I got on my tip toes and held his face, I planted the longest, hardest, hottest kiss I could on him. Trent scowled and stomped back over to his side and sat down, I snickered and went to sit with the Alpha and his family. I was wringing my hands and Luna Christie held my hands in hers " stop that honey, Teddy is very capable of defending himself " I shuddered and put my head down when 1 of the elders walked into the center of the field, " we are ready to begin...Alpha Phips......Beta Levi approach please " he asks them to shake hands again and asked them both " do you both agree to uphold the laws and rules of this challenge as given by the werewolf council? " they both said " I do " and the elder said he declared this challenge started, Ted turned his back for a split second and Trent attacked him.

I was mad as hell Trent was taking cheap shots and sucker punches, but when Ted hit him he got him good, he was bruised and bloody and Ted barely had a scratch on him, his knuckles were bleeding though. Ted kept trying to grab Trent but he was using his bloody skin to his advantage, then all of a sudden Ted stopped moving and just stood there, Trent walked up to him tentatively and punched him and ran off, he really had zero skill in hand to hand combat. He walked up slowly again and Ted let him get in another blow, I'm so confused, what the hell is Ted doing, Trent must've thought Ted was done he nonchalantly walked up and pushed Ted, then when he turned to walk away Ted stepped foward very fast and wrapped his hand around Trents neck in a choke hold, Trent had gotten too cocky and Ted baited him into a choke hold. Even the added power he had as an Alpha wasn't enough, it took Ted longer to choke him out but he did it, I jumped out of my seat as soon as the elder dropped Trent's hand for the third time, he was out and Ted won. I ran across the field and jumped into Ted's arms kissing his face for what felt like a thousand times, he chuckled " babe I'm sweaty " I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in his neck, " I don't care, I'm yours and you're mine and nobody, especially Trent can say or do anything about it now ". I looked up and saw Trent struggling to stand " hey....HEY! Beta! I wasn't out I just lost my balance for a sec! " he was screaming like a maniac and walking up to Ted and I, Ted put me down and pushed me behind him " Phips you were out for a three count, face it you lost " Alpha Thomas told him to just go back to his pack and see if he found his mate or a chosen mate. Trent sneered " I can't do this legal s**t I'll just take what I want " he reached into his shoe and pulled out a small silver dagger, I gasped silver would kill Ted, I did the only thing I could, when Trent stepped foward and stabbed at Ted I ran around Ted as fast as I could and Trent stabbed me. " I....Letti no....I didn't mean to stab you, why would you step in front of him " Trent was shouting at me, but I couldn't hear a word, I dropped to the floor, the last thing I saw before the darkness was Ted snapping Trent's neck.

Trent's POV

One minute I was shielding Letti and the next minute she was shielding me, she moved so fast I didn't have time to stop her or protect her, she actually protected me. She jumped in front of a silver dagger for me " my love....NO! " I shouted but it was too late, Phips had stabbed her in the side. I walked over to him while he was screaming at Leticia and Hayden broke his neck, it was justified, I'd won the challenge and he still tried to take my mate. I ran back over to Letti and the Dr that was on site in case either of us needed 1 was working on her, " how is she dad? " my father hung his head " she needs a hospital fast son, theirs is close than ours, they'll get her over there and the doctor will do his best to keep her alive " I shuddered and ran over to my truck to get in and get over there but I was stopped by the 2 elders " Alpha Levi....please stop we must swear you in before you walk onto your pack's land " I look at them like they've grown 2 heads, Alpha Thomas and Rick are smiling wide as hell and my dad has tears in his eyes. " Son...Theodore when you broke Phips's neck and killed him you became Allha of the Midnight Moon pack " I was stunned speechless " but I....I didn't intend to take the Allha title " I looked at my father and Alpha Thomas " Mr Levi please kneel " the elders said, I did as I was told, I really was just doing what I had to so I could get to Letti as fast as I could. " Do you Theodore Levi, swear to uphold the werewolf laws and lead the Midnight Moon pack to the best of your abilities? " I said " I swear to do so " they cut my hand and let a bit of my blood run into a golden chalice. The beta Wendell stepped forward and drank some so did the gamma, they took a knee and called me their Alpha and swore to be loyal to me and the pack " on our honor, welcome Alpha Levi " and we all stood. I thanked the elders and raced to my truck and peeled out to my new pack and to my mate. When I got to the pack I got out of the truck, asked the nearest person where the hospital was " let me take you over there Alpha " I wondered how he already knew who I was but I didn't have the time to stop and ask right now, I needed to know how Letti was. He lead me to a building to the left off the pack house and through the doors down a few corridors, a nurse was waiting outside she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw me " Alpha Levi, through here, please follow me sir " when she opened the door I got a strong whiff of Letti's scent and quickened my pace, we walked into a cordoned off room marked private and I saw the Dr standing looking over Leticia " ah Alpha, Luna is stable and breathing. She unfortunately is healing like a human so she's still unconscious and in a lot of pain " he went on to tell me the dagger had punctured her right lung and he had to do a very fast operation on her. She should regain consciousness in a day or two, but she will still be in a bit of pain, I sat in the chair placed by the bed and held her hand " Letti baby please wake up, I'll do anything and give you anything you want, just please please wake up " I laid my head on her bed and prayed to the goddess for my mate " please mother, let her live, she may not have a wolf half but she is one of your children, I beg of you let her live, I love her " I prayed " took you long enough Teddy " I lifted my head so fast it spun, I saw no one and i didn't recognize the voice. I thought i imagined it and laid my head back down. " Theodore are you ignoring me young man? " I looked up again " who's there? " the voice said " most know me as the moon goddess but I would prefer you call me Selene, no need to worry about your mate, she'll be fine " I breathed a sigh of relief " thank you, thank you so much moth.... Selene " she chuckled " she'll be slightly different when she wakes but it's a good different, she will carry something of mine for me for a while " I nodded " as long as she's alive and well Selene, thank you so much " I felt a burst of energy rush past me and hit Letti, she breathed in and then went back restful. I held fast to her hand and nodded off. " Ted...cough....Ted baby " I jumped up " Letti?! " she coughed again I got up and ran to get her some water, I helped her drink some water and mind linked the doctor to let him know she was awake. It had been a week now that she was unconcious, I knew she would be alright, the moon goddess had told me she would. I had my Alpha ceremony so I would be able to connect to the whole pack, they accepted me whole heartedly, apparently they hated Phips as he was cruel and had murdered their old Alpha who they loved and were loyal to. I had made some changes to the rankings and moved my construction business offices over here, my dad stayed in Sunset to help Rick find a new beta and then he'd come live with us here, Wendell and I were becoming fast friends, he was efficient and honest even if I didn't agree with him. I admired that in a person, he came to check on Letti everyday and update me on what was going on in the pack on a daily basis, he also took on the task of getting Shadow acquainted with the pack. I wasn't surprised to know he had won the pups over first, then the ladies, when he started running with the pack I knew he was in, he also came through the hospital and licked Letti's hand or sniffed her until he got restless and left with Wendell. " I've been unconscious for how long?! " she exclaimed " the moon goddess visited us? And she said she was leaving something with me? " she looked at me like I was bullshitting her, " plus I'm Luna of the Midnight Moon pack cause you're their new Alpha?! " she touched her forehead, " Ted baby have the doctor put me back to sleep please, I can't cope " I chuckled " listen my Luna, you made me wait a whole week for you to wake up, let's get the doc in here to see how you're healing and get you introduced to your new pack so I can marry you as soon as possible " just as I said that Dr Richard's walked in, " good afternoon Alpha, Luna how are you feeling? " She smiled " I feel great and I hear that's all thanks to you, thank you so much for saving my life Dr " he brushed her off and asked to examine her stab wound, we were all extremely surprised to see her skin smooth and healed like she was never stabbed in the first place. Dr Richards was flabbergasted and had zero words for what he was looking at, I said it must've been the mother, she must've healed you. Dr Richards was amazed " you were visited by the goddess Alpha? " I then told him about the visit and what she said about leaving something with Letti. Dr Richard's turned to face Letti " Luna may I please speak to your wolf, she may know better than we do they are closer to the goddess than we are " Letti and I looked at each other " Dr Richards, Leticia doesn't have a wolf, she was born without one " I told him , Dr Richards came closer to Leticia and touched her forehead " Luna I sense a wolf, so unless she was dormant, I believe that might be what the mother left with you " he stepped away and smiled " focus in your mind and call to her, ask her what her name is for a start "

She closed her eyes and her brows furrowed, we could see she was concentrating on listening to see if she found her wolf.

Leticia's POV

I closed my eyes and concentrated, focusing on any little sound or movement, " uuuuuhh hel looo, is there anyone here? In my brain...with me? This is so stupid, what are you doing Letti? " I saw a door.....a door in my head.....there's a door in my mind....that's it, I've officially gone crazy, I look over at it and walk up and open it " whew, I thought you'd never let me out of there girlfriend, hiya my name is Ivory....I'm your wolf, the mother appointed me to you to heal you faster when you sacrificed your life for that of your mate's " I gasped " she said between what you've done for Ebony and now your mate, you deserve a wolf , a good one if I do say so myself " I was in shock and awe, then I got confused " Ivory? " she looked around at me " yes girlfriend " I ask " whose Ebony and what did I do for him or her? " Ivory slaps herself on the head " duh Ivory, of course I have to tell her " she clears her throat " ok so my brother Ebony and I are twins, usually passed down to children of Alphas, we are a rare pair as we are direct descendants of the mother Selene, about 3 years ago my brother was stolen from his crib right before we were to be granted to our human counterparts " she inhaled dramatically " we don't know how or why or who took him but you found him, hurt in the woods and nursed him back to health, when you took him to the woods he didn't stay because he didn't belong to any wolf pack and had formed an attachment to you " I gasped " Shadow?! My boy is half of a blessed pair, a descendant of the moon goddess herself! " Ivory nodded " apart from being spoiled rotten he's safe and sound and now we are to be reunited, when we see each other again I'll restore his memories and you'll see " I couldn't believe it, my sweet boy and the wolf Selene granted to me were siblings and blessed at that. I asked Ivory if we were ok to go home, she said sure and also said she couldn't wait to meet our delicious mate, I chuckled and felt like I was pushed out of my head and my eyes snapped open. " Oh Ted, it's the most wonderful thing, her name is Ivory and she has a sibling here, we have to touch him in our wolf form to remind him who he is " I told Ted and Dr Richards what my wolf told me, I couldn't wait to shift and touch Shadow, imagine that...my big beautiful boy a blessed werewolf all along, I wonder who had taken him from the mother, must have been another celestial. I got my discharge papers from the doctor and Ted scooped me up " I can walk ya know " he smirks " I know " he keeps walking " so aren't you going to put me down? " he chuckled " nope " I laugh " why? " he shrugged his shoulders " Mr Levi, what are you up to? " he smiles and shrugged his shoulders again. " You'll just have to find out " he rounded the corner to the pack house and I gasped, what had to be the entire pack was out front, they erupted into cheers upon seeing Ted and I, I heard " welcome home Luna ", " we're happy you are ok Luna ", " glad to have you back Luna " some of them were content to touch me or hold my hand. Shadow came bounding out of the pack house, tail wagging and he was very excited. I wriggled out of Ted's hands, " Shadow! " I hugged him hard and ruffled his fur, " I can't wait to meet you Ebony " I whispered in his ear, Shadow c****d his head to the side and pranced off towards a pup who squealed and wrapped his arms around Shadow's neck.....barely. Ted cleared his throat " Midnight Moon your Luna is fully healed and ready to meet you, tonight we will have her ceremony and she will shift and run with us for the first time. You all will be witness to her first shift as the moon goddess has blessed her with a wolf " the whole pack cheered and my cheeks were on fire. I turned into Ted's chest and buried my face in his shirt, he hugged me tightly and quieted the pack down, " ok guys you've seen that your Luna is alive and well, I'm going to take her upstairs and let her get some rest before tonight's activities, we'll see you guys later tonight, thank you for giving her such a warm reception " he picked me back up and carried me through the doors and upstairs to the 4th floor. He told me the whole floor was for the Alpha and Luna, it held our room, 2 guest rooms for visiting Alphas, our own kitchen, an entertainment room and a small sauna. He put me down to fish the keys to our room out of his pocket and he let us in, this place was huge, my eyes widened as I tried to take it all in, the walls were light grey with midnight blue accents, Ted said they were the pack colors, the ceilings were high and a gorgeous chandelier hung from the roof, all the furnishings were made of purple heart wood and stained a deep rich chocolate brown color. The curtains were midnight blue with a silver trim, I wondered into the bathroom, it was amazing, 2 shower stalls, double sinks with a huge mirror behind them, a tub that could easily fit Ted and I and the counter top was filled with any and every toiletry we'd need. Ted leaned on the door frame watching me look at it all " bath or shower baby? " I looked around " bath ". Ted nods and tells me to wait on the bed while he draws me a bath, Ivory is excited and jumping around in my head, " Ivory settle down, you're gonna give me a headache " I chuckle and tell her " girlfriend....I don't think you'll be a virgin for much longer " she coos, " I've spoken to Hayden, Ted wants to complete the mating process " I blush and look towards the closed bathroom door " oh wow, really...well so do I " Ivory howls and shrinks back into my mind when I wince " sorry girlfriend I'll be quiet now " she says and I giggle, I'm a little nervous but Ted and I have done everything but have s*x. If I was being honest with myself, I'd admit that I really wanted to be with Ted sexually, I have been dying for him to make love to me. Ted came out of the bathroom and held out of his hand to me, I took it and he lead me into the bathroom.

Ted had transformed the bathroom into a fantasy, he had lit scented candles, turned down the lights, the bathtub was steaming and the water had orange blossoms floating in it. Ted wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck, " do you like it baby? " I bared my neck to him and he nuzzled me inhaling deeply " yes I do, thank you ", he stepped off to the side and began stripping, " whoa! Ted....you're bigger, like everywhere " he chuckled " it's the power I received when I was sworn in as Alpha, I got a bit more of everything, stronger, taller and more muscle everywhere " I smirked " everywhere huh? I'll be the judge of that ", he raised his eyebrows and I started to take my clothes off and when we were both gloriously naked Ted helped me step into the tub carefully and he stepped in sitting behind me. He rubbed my shoulders and gave me a massage, he worked all the kinks of me laying in a hospital bed for a week out of my muscles, he kissed me all along my collar bone and neck. I was melting, I moaned and groaned as Ted turned me to mush, I turned around in the tub to face him and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him softly and sweetly, he groaned as I nipped and nibbled on his marking spot, then it occurred to me that I am now able to mark Ted. " Ted can I mark you? " I whispered in his ear, he bared his neck to me and I felt my canines elongate, I bit down on his neck and he moaned in pleasure, I bit down a little deeper and marked my mate, he was mine and now everyone would know it. " Oh baby, that felt amazing, I love you my Luna " I raised myself up on my knees and straddled him " and I love you my Alpha " I said before I slid myself back down on Ted's very erect p***s, he gasped and looked at me " Letti... " he groaned and layed his head on my shoulder " you have to take it slow baby, it'll hurt at first " I nodded and slowly lowered myself the rest of the way, I felt something like a hard pinch or maybe a cut and I winced and stopped moving. Once the pain lessened I slid the rest of the way down Ted's length, I was wrong it fits, it's a tight ass fit but it fits. Ted closed his eyes and his head rocked back against the tub, he groaned and held onto my waist, I rocked back and forth adjusting myself on his d**k, " Leticia Aurora Summers! " I giggled " why are you calling my whole name Theodore " he closed his eyes and grunted as I wiggled my ass getting more comfortable on his d**k, I started moving up and down slowly, Ted legit whimpered and grabbed my hips, he moved with me and I moaned and leaned into his neck, I picked up the pace and started riding him, I grabbed his hair and pulled his face into my chest, when he licked my breasts and started nibbling and sucking on my n*****s I lost it. I got in the shower washed my hair and was pleasantly surprised when another set of hands started to help me lather, Ted helped me wash my hair and he soaped me up and washed me off. He swatted my bottom and told me to go get some rest until it was time for the ceremony, I went to the closet, found my section and put on short shorts and a camisole. I lay on the bed and watched as Ted came into the room, towel hanging low on his hips and drying his hair, I looked him up and down, biting my lip and remembering how it felt making love to him, a small pool started to form in my panties " Letti....I can smell your arousal baby " I gasped " I forgot you can do that " I covered my face and flaming cheeks. " I'd be happy to help you out, but you may not be able to walk later " I giggled and covered myself with the comforter, Ted chuckled and a few minutes later I felt the bed dip. He kissed my forehead and snuggled up to me and I realised he was naked, " I'm going to enjoy sleeping with you Mr Levi " he chuckled and held me tightly and that's how we fell asleep.
