I followed her up the stairs and we stopped at her bedroom door, whe she grabbed the door knob I spun her around to face me. " Letti I was joking with you, if you're ready for anything intimate I can wait, I'm perfectly happy waiting until you're comfortable " she smiled and opened the door and backed into room pulling me with her. " We'll play it by ear or should I say touch " I grinned " Miss Summers did you just make a naughty ish joke " she chuckles and sits on the corner of her bed, meanwhile I'm still by the door, very unsure about what is happening right now. I don't want her to think she HAS to do anything s****l with me, she's only known that she is my mate for a few days now, I know werewolves move fast when it comes to marking and mating. " Ted could you please come over here, I promise I won't bite......unless you're into that stuff " I smirk, where has this side of her been hiding, I walk over and sit beside her on the bed, she climbs into my lap straddling me. She pulls my shirt up and off, she runs her hands across my abs and stomach, the sparks walk behind her every touch, I close my eyes and groan. She traces the tribal wolf I have tattooed on my right pectoral. She puts her hands around to my neck and back down to rub my shoulders, then she runs them through my hair and I growl deep in my throat. " I think Hayden liked that " she said and did it again, my eyes turn black as Hayden tries to come to the surface " little mate, be very very careful with how you tease me, I've been denied you for 5 years by this big jackass " I wrestle him back to a corner of my mind. Shes giggling " tell him how you really feel Hayden " I look her in the eye and raise my eyebrow " oh you find that funny do you? " I put my hands in her ribs and tickle her unmercifully, she's full on laughing and screaming " I give, I give, Ted stooooooop " I stop and laughingly told her I had found a form of punishment for her now. " Letti would you be ok with the Alpha announcing our mating to the pack? " she nodded yes, I held her chin between my fingers and kiss her softly, I lift her up and flip her over climbing over her and locking her legs between my legs. I lean in and smell her hair and skin, I lick and nip the spot in her neck where I'll put my mark and she closes her eyes and sighs. I inhale her scent and I look down at her beautiful face, she's smiling and I feel my heart swell with love, I lean in and kiss her lips again, she opens her mouth granting me access to her tongue. We kiss until we are both breathless, breaking apart and panting for air, she tries to sit up so I get up on my knees, my beautiful mate sits up and removes her shirt, she is currently wearing her jeans and an extremely sexy black lace bra. I bite my fist and sit back on my feet just looking at her " absolutely gorgeous " I mutter as I run my hands through my hair. She blushes and giggles " Ted.....would you mark me? "

" What!? " I almost fell off her bed " are you sure of what you're asking me Leticia? " she nodded yes " I know it's been off to a rocky start and you may need time to adjust " she got up and came over to where I was standing " Ted since I turned 18 and realized I couldn't shift all I wanted was my mate, I knew if I couldn't have my wolf I could at least have my mate " " yes I was upset and pissed when you confessed that you knew we were mates and said nothing but I still want my mate and I know you Ted, I know you won't hurt me, so yes Ted, if you don't mind could you please mark me and make me yours " I had tears in my eyes, she reached up and wiped my eyes with her thumbs " it'll hurt at first but after you will be a bit aroused, since you have no wolf I'm not sure if your senses will sharpen but time will tell " I breathed in " are you ready baby? " she leaned her head exposing her neck to me and I kissed the spot nipped at it and licked it before I sank my canines in, pushing them almost all the way to the bone, she cried out and started to whimper. I let her neck go and licked the spot cleaning off the area and helping with the pain. She looks up at me and gives me a weak smile right before she passed out, I put her on her bed, head on a pillow and pulled her comforter over her. I looked down at her and smiled, she has forgiven me, accepted me and let me mark her, I can't wait to let the world know that she's mine and I am hers, I lay down next to her looking at her beautiful sleeping face until I too drift off to sleep.

I wake up in the morning wondering who brought in breakfast for me as I was smelling bacon, coffee and something that was cinnamon inspired, I then remembered I had marked Leticia last night and fell asleep in her bed. I smiled, got up and used the bathroom, I found a new toothbrush in her medicine cabinet and I washed my face and brushed my teeth, placing my toothbrush in the cup with hers. Stood there looking at them like an i***t, I turn around and see Leticia leaning against the door looking at me " looks like it belongs there " I stepped forward and kissed her, lifted her up and she wraps her legs around my waist, " I (kiss) made (kiss) you ( kiss) breakfast ( kiss) " she told me she was leaving for work and she made me breakfast before she had to leave, its then that I realise she's already dressed. " My truck's outside babe, if you eat with me I'll take you to work " she nodded and put a plate in front of me with bacon, eggs, potato and corn hash and some kind of fluffy pastry with cinnamon and powdered sugar " mmmmmmm what the hell are these " I moan as I bite into it, its light, fluffy a little sweet and the cinnamon gives it a nice kick. She chuckles " an experiment I came up with in the diner 1 night with Mrs Lee, she called them Letti's Delights and put them on the menu " I pull her into my lap and kiss her " yummy like the one who made them " she blushed and told me she'd wrap what was left and give me to take home, I thanked her, helped her wash up and played with Shadow a little before we got ready to leave, I ask her if it would be ok with me to take Shadow with me today, she said if i was sure she had no problems with it. I collect his leash and bundle him into the back seat, where he proceeds to sit and look out the window. We get in and I take her to the diner and tell her I'd be back for her after her shift was over. She started to walk in but ran back to the truck and scratched Shadow behind the ears before running around to my side, opening the door, stepping up and kissing me long and hard, I wrapped my hands in her long gorgeous red hair and got lost in the kiss. She giggled when we pulled apart " see you later " I looked at her until she was out of sight, I looked back at Shadow " your mom's gonna be the death of me, now I gotta calm down and get rid of this hard on before those bastards in the pack house tease me to death " I start the truck and head home to the pack house, when I pull up I leash Shadow and get him out of the truck, people give me a few strange looks but don't ask me any questions. I take Shadow and my pastries up to my room, I unlock the door to find Alpha Thomas, Rick and my dad on my couch watching a football game " what the hell....how did you people get in here? " my dad sees Shadow " welp! we no longer need to ask where he's been all damn night, what son...you forgot how to mind link and tell people you're alive? " I face palmed myself I'm sorry dad, Alphas, but after I marked Leticia she passed out and I didn't want to leave her alone in the house ". All three of the rush me at once " congrats son " " good on ya, that's my boy " " yeah buddy " they all say at once, I tell them it wasn't really my doing " she asked me to " Alpha Thomas says " I love that kid like my own daughter, you better not f**k up again Teddy! " I promise him that I wouldn't and whe I turn around to ask him about letting Shadow come on pack runs I find dad and Rick scarfing down my Delights, " what the hell guys, you couldn't wait until I offered Alpha Thomas any? " my dad, with his mouth filled mumbles " the smell was killing us " Rick said " ok but ask a question though, I swear I got the wrong dad, you're more like him than I am " I took the plate with the last 2 on them and offered them to Alpha Thomas, " woah! these are really good, what are they " I told them they were pastries Leticia had made and sells at the diner. My dad and Rick look at each other, Alpha Thomas shouts " I got shot gun! " and the three of them run for my truck at break neck speed, I look at Shadow and he looks at me, I put out water and some food for him and went outside to take the stooges to Sunrise diner, hoping my mate doesn't change her mind and reject my ass when she sees who I've brought with me.

I pull into the parking lot in front of Sunrise and we go in taking a seat in the back corner, Leticia freezes when she sees us at the table sitting down, " huh hi Alpha Thomas, Alpha Rick, Beta Ted......ba uuuuuhh Ted " Rick snickered " aaaaawwww she was gonna call him baby " I rolled my eyes " sorry babe they tasted and demolished my Delights, then demanded I bring them to get some " I shrugged and she laughed " ok how many for the table? " the stooges huddled and my dad replied " 40, ten a plate and a pot of coffee please and thank you Letti " her eyes got wide, I'm going to have to bake a few more batches aren't I? " I nodded yes and she chuckled telling us she'd be right back. She returned carrying a huge tray, before any of us could offer to help her Raymond sauntered into the diner and took it out of her hands " let me help you Letti, jeez what are you doing carrying such a heavy tray? " Alpha Thomas and I growled and Rick and my dad stood up, Letti tried to calm us all down and Raymond looked a little confused, he put the tray on the table and backed away with his hands out, Letti approached us and held onto my hand, squeezing it " Raymond these gentlemen are from my pack, that's my Alpha, his son the future Alpha, their second in command Ted and his son...my mate Ted Jr. Raymond's eyes widened and he lowered his head showing respect to the two Alphas " ooooh ok ok I see, well congrats on finally finding him, I know that's all you ever wanted " he started to walk out of the diner then turned around " make her happy, she's a hell of a woman " he says as he looks at me. I look down at Leticia " I know and I will, thank you ". We sit back down and tuck into the mountain of pastries on our table while my girl pours us some coffee. " are you working the bar tonight babe? " she says only if someone doesn't show up for work, then she'd cover their shift but otherwise she gets off at 2pm since she started at 6am. I ask her if she would come by the pack house with me afterwards so we can talk to the Alpha about our announcement to the pack, she nodded yes and asked after Shadow, I told her was in my room, he had food and water and I was going to take him for a run when I got back home. She kissed me and went about her job leaving us to demolish the rest of the Delights. When I sit down I see that my 10 have been reduced to 5, I look at the stooges " guys what happened to the other half of my portion? " nobody said s**t, they all just sat there looking everywhere but at me. I shook my head and ate the other 5 quickly before they too disappeared. We ate, paid, I kissed my girl to the jeers and teasing of everyone in the diner and left. When we arrived back at the pack house, our delta Charles came running down the stairs " Alpha Alpha, Leticia's wolf has bitten someone, he's safe with the Luna right now but the pack member he bit is asking for him to be put down sir! " I ran up to the Luna 's office, I knocked on the door, Luna said " come in Teddy ". I entered the office and found Shadow sitting beside the Luna as if he were a guard dog, when he saw me his tail started wagging but he didn't move until Luna told him to go on, then he came running over to me licking my hand, I did the hand signal Letti had taught me to tell him to sit and he sat down, Luna raised her eyebrow " that is even more evidence, I'm sure of it now, she provoked him " I gave her a very confused look " her....there should be no "her" in my room, I have found my mate and I left Shadow in there alone and locked in " Luna said she figured and asked me to hang on until Alpha Thomas came upstairs. I stood and lowered my head in respect as Alpha Thomas, Rick and my dad walked into the Luna's office, dad looked over at me " Ted has anything happened between you and Sheila? " I dropped my head " I'm not proud of it dad it was a weak moment but she threatened my mate and I almost choked her out a couple days ago " my dad breathed a sigh of relief " son have you ever slept with her is what I mean " I looked at him " slept with her......ew dad NO, pppfffttt s**t I'm one of the few men in the pack she hasn't slept with " all in attendance snickered, " she's been harassing me, trying to touch me and even going as far as propositioning me this past week, I keep refusing. I caught her coming out of the delta's room meer hours after she told me we belong together " Charles lowered his head and flushed red, Luna cleared her throat and we all turned to face her. " Ted she came running out of your room, in the nude screaming that Shadow had attacked her and she wants him put to death, I went to your room to see him for myself, when I entered your room he sat on his haunches, lowered his head and whimpered ", " I was using my aura in case he needed to be subdued, but when I approached him he sniffed my hand and licked it, delta Charles also approached him and he just sat there watching us, when Charles brought Sheila out of the bathroom she locked herself into Shadow remained seated but her growled at her and watched her as she passed by " Rick nodded " she did something to provoke him, I go by there sometimes and even if he's outside with Letti he doesn't move, she has these cool signals and whistles he's trained to obey " I nodded " well we're going to have to get to the bottom of this, if she achieves her goal and the pack votes for him to be put down it'll kill my girl, she loves him, he's all the family she has " Luna nods, I'll figure it out, go get Letti after her shift, tell her nothing about what happened. I will make sure the pack knows Shadow before they judge him and I'll figure out what that wretch did to him to make him bite her "

I sighed, that b***h must have figured out Letti is my mate and tried to get her and Shadow in trouble, not on my watch, even if I have to move into the woods with Leticia, I already wasted enough time, we should've been together 5 years now, nothing is ever getting in my way with her again. I take Shadow for a walk and I can see people giving me looks already, some she wolves pull their pups to their sides as we walk by, it breaks my heart cause he really is a good boy. I scratch his neck and rub his belly, " dont worry Shadow, Luna will make this right as rain.
