Just Once

"Oops sorry, I didn't mean to think you were trash, are you human?" said the girl to Eric as she laughed at her companions. And because it was a good day for Eric, he just ignored the girl and just walked inside the school. But before he could get past the gate, the girl blocked Eric. Eric forced himself to stop in front of the girl. "Are you dumb? Why aren't you talking?" He heard the girl say to him but Eric remained stooped and tried to prevent himself from being annoyed with the girl. "Hey! I'm talking to you! Who are you talking down there huh? Look at me!" the girl insisted but Eric remained bent over. Eric secretly looked at his watch, close to the start of his class and he could not miss the first class. "Hey Why you're not looking at me huh!" the girl violently shook Eric so Eric unexpectedly dropped his thick eye glasses on the floor, Eric quickly bent down to pick up the eye glasses when suddenly a girl's face appeared close on his face. "Finally! I saw your face too" the girl replied to Eric and smiled. Eric quickly removed the girl's face and picked up the fallen eyeglass and put it on and went to the classroom. He even heard the girl calling him but Eric just ignored it. When Eric entered the class, the people there immediately looked at him like a weirdo, jerk or something. "Seriously, what is that dumb peg, is that 90's outfit what a dork!" "Hell!, I hope he doesn't sit here next to me, it looks stinky! Hahahaha" "did he go to bath?" "No kidding, it's obvious!" Those are just some of the things Eric has heard since he entered the class. "Are you the new student who moved here?" A young woman said and base from her appearance she is in her thirties, maybe this is our teacher in Eric's mind. Eric nodded in response. "Wait, aren't you two? Where is the other one?" Eric's teacher asked. "Hey curly! I said wait for me, right!?" The girl said that she had just arrived as if she was chasing a horse and was very tired. Eric was shocked to see the girl. 'She again? I guess she likes me, Wait! I've been disguise since then! Am I saying that I should still intervene? ' "Excuse me Miss? Are you the another one newly transferred student here?" Eric was shocked to turn to the teacher when he heard what she said. 'What !? this woman? Just moved too? Then if you acted earlier you thought who tsk! And what kind of dress is that? Where is she going, to the bar? Tss maybe she doesn't have a boyfriend or parents or if she has any they doesn't knew what this girl doing here ' Eric's arrogant response in his mind. Eric was startled when the girl suddenly approached him and clung to his arm. But the girl did not seem to hear him so he quickly pulled his arm away from the girl's hand. "What a picky guy! I just hold a little! geez!" Eric didn't say a word and just looked at his classmates as if they were watching drama like a theater the way they look at them. "Looks like you knew each other ?" Their teacher teased at the two of them and Eric and the girl answered at the same time. "No" "Yes" Eric looked at the girl badly and the girl did the same to him. "Oh wait before you two get on fire there, introduce yourself to the audience, i mean to your classmate, I'm sorry I thought we were in the theater act" The teacher said jokingly and giggled followed by the taunts of his classmates. ' What a worst day to start..' Eric immediately cough a little to deviate from the conversation. "Uhm Hi I ---" Eric's introduction was interrupted when the girl suddenly spoke. "Oh my gosh! He speaks!" The girl said jokingly that cause their classmates to laughed at them again. Again, he ignored it and Eric just continued his introduction. "Hi, I'm Erickson Leejay Thoxer, 20 years old, from ******* City and i hope we can be friends, that's all thank you" Eric's quick and brief introduction. "What a baritone voice he have .." He heard the girl whisper. "Okay thank you Mr.Thoxer you may sit at the back" Eric immediately went to his given seat by his teacher. "You, Miss" she heard the teacher say to the girl. When Eric sat down, he immediately pulled out a book and started reading. But no matter what Eric tried to do, what he was reading did not enter his mind so he lowered it slightly and listened to the girl in front. "Hi, I'm Cherrie, Cherriffer just kidding" said the girl in front jokingly which made Eric laugh a little. Eric lifted the book slightly to cover his face and listened to what the girl was saying. "Take two let's go hahahaha that's me Cherrie Mae Hatterson 18 years old, living in ********** City, Jolly and Joyful person and of course beautiful like my mama always said to me when i was young!" The girl said jokingly again the whole class including Eric. "Oh don't be happy too much you will die early" The girl joked again which made everyone laugh even the teacher. Eric, on the other hand, tries to suppress the laughter in it. 'Your motto' He overheard a classmate say that to the girl. "ah my motto? hmmm Time is gold, oh isn't it very new" she joked again before the teacher give her a seat and that is seat next to Eric. 'What the hell! of all people why the hell is she become my seatmate! oh god no!' "What are you reading?" The girl named Cherrie immediately asked Eric. Eric quickly pointed to the title written in the book. "Ah, that's boring" 'What? English history bored's her? hell! i wonder if she has the brain and good in class! tsk! Eventually the bell rang, a sign of break time. Eric made a quick and big steps out of the room to get to the Locker room. "Hey! Wait for me curly!" Eric heard cherrie shout. 'Why does she keeo bugging me! it's irritating ! That's why I disguise myself to have a quiet life! Eric quickly confronted Cherrie who did not expect it so it hit Eric's chest. "ooh it's hard i see! Delicious!" cherrie joked with Eric that Eric's ears were reddened. Eric quickly pushed Cherrie away from him. "It's hurts huh! I'm still a girl ah!" Cherrie complained to Eric. "Stay away from me!" Eric said angrily to cherrie. "What if I don't want to?" Cherrie asked Eric angrily. "It's up to you."
