Us Again

STELLA'S POV :- "Honey please stop her from leaving. I promise to get her admitted to the best colleges as long as she decides to stay" said the man who was wailing like a baby. I looked at the beautiful lady standing next to him looking like a supermodel even in her 40's and we both rolled our eyes. The big baby over there is my dad. Most people have an emotional mom but i have a dad. I was supposed to leave for my new uni a week ago but everytime dad would come up with a new excuse to make me stay. I don't blame them. They love me too much to let me go. I am their only child which makes me the princess of the Young family. "She has already missed her first week of college, please try to understand honey " said mom. He just made a pouty face and said "fine. But promise me you will let us visit you every month or maybe every week". I immediately hugged him. "Yes dad you can visit me whenever you want. I too can't stay away from my favourite guy for long you know" i said blinking back the tears that were threating to come out. We reluctantly broke the hug and now it was my turn to hug my mom. "I will miss you mom and please look after the big baby of our family" i said. "Mom will miss you too ella. Take care of yourself for mom and dad please. You know how precious you are to us." said mom. I had always known this moment will be a difficult one but never knew it to be this hard. "Call us as soon as you land, your elder brother's assistant will be already waiting for you in the airport." said dad with a small smile playing on his lips. I know he is happy and proud of me but he would not say that out loud. "Alright dad. I should probably leave before i miss this flight too. I love you guys" i said and kissed their cheeks and finally left for New York. 2 years ago if someone would have told me that i would be taking a flight all alone i would have laughed at them. But i am not the naive little girl anymore. My walls are higher now. One could say this is a new version of myself. I turned 18 last month. Now i am leaving for NYU to persue my dream of being a fashion designer like my mom. She is my role model. She is the owner of one of the most prestigious fashion brand around the world. My dad and my uncle own the 'Young Corp' which is a construction company with a net worth enough to make us the 3rd richest family in our country. My uncle has two sons. Both of them are at NYU but have no idea that i am coming there too. Since i am a week late they won't expect me to be there. I can't wait to see the surprise on their faces. My entire family spoils me since i am the only girl child which makes me 'the favourite child' of the family. But getting to see my brothers will mean i will have to see him too...
