Chapter 24Four Weeks Later
Micah was thinking about Don and the brief hour they spent at the beach, and all the nights for the past weeks going to the movies, flea markets, a concert, and that wonderful day at the pier. He and Don had even gone on a road trip to San Diego for the weekend after he worked his last shift at the restaurant. The happiness of those days was still on his mind, and he didn’t hear the director shouting and clapping his hands from behind the camera.
