My Brother's Best Friend

It was officially the last week till school started. People were coming back from vacations and there is an excitement in the air. Gossip has started spreading around faster than the Black Plague. There was talk of who glowed up and who lost their virginity. Apparently some girl got preggo and couldn't come back. Luckily, I was never subject to these rumors. "OKAYYYYY!! Grab your phone. We're going shopping." Sara came running in my room. " Ughhh, do I really have to go??" I whined. Though it was useless. Once Sara decides to take you shopping, you're going shopping. Your bitching and whining does not bother her. And she has a keen sense of fashion. * * * * * * After making sure I was looking decent enough to go out, Sara dragged me out of my room laughing. Mum was out on a business trip so only Luke and his best friend Drake was home. " Whoah, whoah!!" Luke looked up from his game pausing it. Drake looked at us too. " Where are the both of you waltzing off to?" " Jeez Luke, lighten up. Somebody hasn't had some p***y in a while." Sara retorts causing Drake to snicker. I made a mental note to find a brain fixing medicine for my best friend. " We're just going shopping Luke." She answers him seriously this time. " Oh, ok" Luke says beet red. Poor guy. Though he deserved it after years of teasing me. " Do you need a ride?" he asks. " Nah, we're fine." I tell him. "Be back later. You can both eat lunch without us." I say to him as I make my way to the door. As I take one last look at them, I find Drake watching me leave heatedly. I look away quickly. Why does he have to be so hot!?! Sara snickers, " Oops, said it out loud didn't I?" She just shakes her head. " You have always liked Drake, Chloe. Are you going to do something about it?" She asks " I don't know. What if he doesn't like me that way. And even if he does, there's Luke to think about. Do I really want to risk all that for a simple crush?" I ask her back. " Stop lying to yourself. It's not just a simple crush. You're practically in-love with him." She says pulling into the parking lot of the mall. " Anyways if you are going to do something about it... We are changing your style. Completely." I walk in the store with her smiling ridiculously.
