Attracted to the Beast
All that could be heard in the room was the slamming of sweaty bodies together and the moans of a woman.
"Oh, domain, I love you so much, yes!" Damien, the blond, screamed her head off, and the words she uttered made him lose interest. Love? What did she know about love? How dare she utter that word in front of him?He pulled out of her and was about to climb down when she grabbed his hand.
"Where are you going? I haven't satisfied you yet." He rolled his eyes and turned to her with disgust. "What did I tell you about stopping me when I wanted to leave?" His voice was low, and his eyes dropped lazily, but the girl shook with fear and slowly dropped her hand and then bowed her head.
"I am so sorry, alpha. I promise it won't happen again."
"Of course, it won't because I don't want to ever see you here again. You are just a slut. Leave before I get back, or you will have to blame yourself for whatever happens to you." She jumped out of the bed, grabbed her clothes, and ran out of the room because she knew he wasn't joking. He wasn't called the beast for nothing.
At such a young age, life taught him how to be merciless, how to be invisible, and how to be a beast. Damian had grown up with those morals instilled in him. He cared about no one other than his brother, and that was how he liked it.
He killed whoever got in his way with no mercy and compassion because he didn't have any; his heart was as cold as ice.
Damian climbed out of bed and immediately went to have his bath to wash off the smell of the woman on his body. He felt disgusted after having s*x with the slut.
After having his bath and a change of clothes, he stared at the mirror with a smirk on his face. He knew how handsome he was; he didn't need the stares, the murmur, or the ranking from women to tell him he was handsome. Indeed he was a narcissist who wasn't.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and his brother Luka walked in with a smirk on his face."I can hear you praising yourself from a distance," Luka commented jokingly, which gained him an eye roll from Damian.
"I am not in the mood to entertain you today." Luka chuckled as he walked closer.
Unlike Luka's green eyes and pale skin, Damian was taller and more handsome. They were both heavenly built, but of course, Damian saw himself as the more attractive one.
"Well, you might want to hear this, a rogue was found roaming around outside our wall and has been captured and taken down to the dungeon." Damian nodded as he buttoned up his shirt.
"Then what's the news about the crescent pack? Is the alpha going to give up his pack easily, or am I going to have to go there and give them a little more reason why I can't be told no?" Luka shook his head.
"He has agreed to give in to your wishes and has even signed the agreement. All he wants is his son back." Damian nodded.
"Then give him all that is left of his son. What about the crystal pack? What's the update?" Luka shrugged.
"The men you sent there just arrived, and am yet to speak with them, but based on the look on their faces, I don't think they have good news." Damian scoffed and dusted his suit before turning to Luka.
"They better hope that is not the case."
They walked out of the room towards the meeting room. As soon as Damien walked in, they all stood up and bowed their heads at him."Alpha king," they greeted, but he did not reply. He was staring straight at his father.
"What are you doing here, Father?" His father, Caleb, raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why can't I be here at the meeting? I want to know details on the crystal pack." Damien nodded and turned to the men he sent to the crystal pack. His eyes immediately darkened when he saw the fear on their faces.
"They refused to sign the deal," he muttered frankly as he took a slow step toward them. They shook their heads at him.
"We are sorry, alpha, but they refused to sign the deal. We tried talking to them, but they just..." Before the guard could utter another word, Damien drove his fist into his chest, yanked out his heart with a bored expression on his face, and threw the heart on the ground. He stepped on it.
"I don't take nonsense," he uttered as the guard's dead body fell to the ground. He turned to the other guards who were shaking with fear.
"Mapo, take them outside and do away with them. I can't accept incompetent men in this pack. It disgusts me." He reached out his pocket with his clean hand and pulled out a white handkerchief to wipe off the blood of the guard on his hand.
As Mapo and other men dragged out the guards from the meeting while they screamed for mercy, Luka turned to Damien.
"What are you going to do about the crystal pack? They seem to be very stubborn and adamant. What's your plan?" Damien shrugged.
"This means we will deal with them myself. They have tried my patience enough. I can't keep quiet and be disrespected."Damian turned to him with cold eyes. "You can't deal with them on your own, you will need me too."
"I can handle them myself," Ben replied sharply. "Whose fault is it that I have patience with them? Stay out of my way, I don't need you for anything. Ben, gather all the strong men. We leave tonight."
"No, I won't allow you to go alone," Damian insisted. "Whether you accept it or not, the truth remains that you need me."
"Out of my way, Damian," Ben growled. "I will deal with you, not minding that you are my brother."
"Then start now because I won't back down either." "Fine, we leave tomorrow."
