It was a long ride to the Diamond pack, and even when we arrived Benjamin was still fast asleep. I carried him to my apartment and laid him on the bed.
I had never seen him this exhausted, and I couldn't blame him either. I heard he wasn't getting any good sleep ever since I left him at the Blood moon pack.
Now that we are finally together, I knew he had a sense of security that he had not felt for months.
After putting a blanket over his body, I went out to the garden at the center of the Diamond pack estate.
That was my favorite spot whenever I needed time to think. I settled on the paved bench and looked forward towards the large tree.
