His eyes roamed through her body, with ravenous intent. She drew down her dress and looked away. She had never felt so naked, even though she actually wasn’t.

He took a step closer. His voice deep and raspy “I told you if I want you, I will get you” Lukas smirked as he closed the gap between them. “You are mine, kitten…. All mine” he breathed against her neck.

PROLOGUE
The cold wind slapped Isabella across the face. She was on a mission. And if she wasn’t successful, as her father said, she shouldn’t bother coming back to the house. Not because he didn’t care about her. But because it was the truth and nothing but the truth. She took one step after the other into the office of the young billionaire. He was an old friend of hers. He would definitely lend her some money. Well money to help her father’s company, not go bankrupt. Charles had to help her like before or else, she was ruined. The moment Isabella walked into the office, she got the shocker of her life. It was him. Lukas Parakis was seated in the reclining chair with a smug look on his face. It felt like she had just been slapped on the face. Memories of them going at each other last month in her father’s office flooded her brain. She wanted to turn to a stone. “Well well well, what do we have here?” Lukas said with a smirk. “What!—what are you doing...” she paused and took in some air. “I believe there must be some sort of... explanation?” She took shaky steps to his table. Lukas smirked at her. “To what, Isa?” she clenched her fist. She had warned him not to call her that. They were not even friends. They were sworn enemies. She took a deep breath. “I mean… to you sitting here and behaving like—“ That smirk again. “Like I own the place?” Isabella swallowed, thinking how cocky he sounded. “Well yes” “Because I do own it,” Lukas said. “I‘ve bought the company Isa. I now own everything that belongs to Charles, all over the world or rather you can call it a hostile takeover” he winked at her. Shock flowed through her body. Be calm. She told herself. She kept her voice casual “I didn’t realize— “That I was this rich?” “Well yes” her smile felt like it was slicing her face in two. “Well now, you know” he clapped his hands slowly. “So why are you here?” He gestured to the chair beside her. Isabella lowered herself onto the chair, slowly. She peeped at his table. She couldn’t lie because her formal request for funds was sitting in front of him. She cleared her throat. “Oh that… I... I want to ask for some funds. I will pay back, I promise. I will do anything too” Her voice betrayed her in the end. She hoped there was a heart in this ruthless billionaire. Lukas raised his eyes up. He looked her in the eyes and then he let his eyes travel lazily over her body, at a slow pace. He felt the delicious rush of blood to his groin. Isabella suddenly felt naked. She looked away. “Strip.” “What!?” Isabella snapped her head up. “You heard me,” he said with a bored look on his face. Isabella couldn’t believe her ears. Firstly she was angry then she was disgusted. “How uncharacteristic of you to ask me such!” Isabella sprang to her feet. “Do you want the money?” he said deadpanned. “Y... yes” “Then strip,” he simply said. “But ….” She protested. “But what?!– he spat– You said you would do anything to have the money.” he said taking a sip from a glass, She didn’t know was there “Yes I said so...” he cut her off. “So you lied?” he turned to face her. His facial expression was getting scarier. On a closer look he looked angry. “No I didn’t. I meant it when I said so but I...” she looked at her feet and back at him. He rose from his seat and in one stride, he was opposite her not breaking his stare. Isabella had a strong desire to take a step back but she didn’t want to. Then Lukas took one step towards her, Isabella didn’t know when she moved back. He stared at her feet with that smug expression. “Then you lack comprehension of the word anything” Lukas took one step closer, closing the gap between them. Isabella gasped. His cologne invaded her senses. It was woody and manly. “I... I do” she said in a whisper. She moved back. “No you don’t” Another step towards her. “I really will do anything for a loan but stripping…” Isabella goes ahead babbling. As he takes another step, Isabella takes one back. Lukas keeps coming forward menacingly. Then Isabella bounced against something. She turned to find out that it was the bookshelf. Now she’s cornered. Isabella looked up to find him watching her. He leans in more, in such a way that she only has to look at him. “I know, you need the money,” he said, looking into her eyes. She swallowed hard. “Yes I do. It’s just an amount I borrow from Charles from time to time” I said. “An amount?– He sneered at the word like it disgusted him– that amount of money is not small.” He glanced at the paper in front of his deck. A debt is a debt” he said. “But I am ready to let her you have it if you do what I say” “What?” she whispered. Not that she didn't know what he was talking about. She just couldn’t bring herself to say those words. “Simple. Strip.” He said as he left her to go to his liquor. Isabella opened my mouth to talk but no words made it out. “I’m waiting,” he said as leaned on the table watching her. Shesquirmed at his scrutiny. She couldn’t do it. No way. “Please Lukas, have some mercy” she begged. Before Isabella knew it he was standing right in front of her. It almost gave her a heart attack. He looked into her eyes as if he was searching for something and she immediately looked away. There was something about his eyes that made her weak. And the more she looked, she felt some sort of electricity run through her. He used the tip of his finger and tilted her face towards him. “Don’t you dare, look away when I’m talking to you” he growled. “Mercy? — He continued — "you still don’t know me Isa,” he said. As she stared longer at him she then realized that his eyes were cocoa brown. They were the most beautiful pair she had never seen but there was something else. His eyes held no emotion. They were as cold as snow. Suddenly she felt stupid and angry for staying longer in his office. Foe even begging. She pushed him off. “I don’t need you money Lukas Parakis, you can shove it up your ass!” she said with a defiant look and a racing heart before she headed for the elevator. Isabella bit her lip as she rode the elevator and tried to block out the memories of Lukas’s mocking face. she would think of something. She had to.
