"Adele, get down here already or you'd be late on your first day", Mum called from the kitchen. "I'm coming, I'm coming", I whisper-yelled, running carefully down the stairs. It was my first day at college and I was gonna make it worth it. I was admitted by scholarship so clearly I kinda might be a nerd, I never really fancied glasses anyway so it might be hard to figure that out. "I'm not hungry Mum, let's just leave already", I mentioned, heading towards the dining and made for an apple. "Yes I know, you never have a good meal when you're nervous", she stated matter-of-factly. I rolled my eyes at how she knows me so well and she chuckled, knowing I got that trait from her. My name is Adele Flames, an off the edge teenager who is surprisingly serious with her studies, might as well call me a ßookworm if you deem fit. I never once lagged in any subject, all thanks to Mum. She has always been there to support me and gives all her time to making sure I understood everything I learnt. She's like a teenager in my eyes and I admire that about her, don't tell her I said that though. We picked whatever we needed and off we went to college.
