The Deal (Chapter 5)

"Damn it I thought I had it in my pocket the whole time"I mumble and yet again he laughed ,I grouned not having time for his s**t.

I walked up to him making sure I didn't give him the satisfaction of annoying me and put my hand out.

"give it" I sternly said and with that I guess it gave him a signel to go farther ,

he grinned"Can you say please , love?" He pushed .

This jackass

I tried to get it myself but he had to be to so God damn tall.

I was just about to kick his shen when he chuckled "alright, alright love I'll give you it but may I have your name first?"

I shook my head trying to get it again ,He sighed " please ? "

I groaned in annoyance I see no other way but to give in ,"Hazel"I muttered. There was a moment of silence and soon his smile beamed.

"that's a beautiful name love"he pulled out his hand "I'm Alastair, Alastair Stevenson"he grinned,I huffed and quickly shakes his hand and gave a fake smile.

"Oh my Alastair ,it's a pleasure to meet you" I let out ,he frowned seeing that I was being sarcastic. He sighed "listen love, I didn't-"

"Don't call me that"I stopped him before he could finish,he stopped "call you what ?",I looked away with my arms crossed ."love"

he chuckled"but love suits you really well "he said teasing me.

I came closer to him."if you keep calling me that,I will hurt you."I threatened ,he put his hands up in surrender "okay, okay I won't"he said laughing,

I took a deep breath ,"Now" I put my hand out" can I have my phone back...please" . trying to be nice.

He shook his head still smiling "How about we make a trade ?"

I tilt my head wondering what is he up to "what kind of trade?" Afraid of the answer I'm about to receive." Well" he said looking around pretending to think " how about If I give you your phone back we could hang out." He said with his smile that lifted .

Then it was my turn to laugh "oh God, are you serious?,you can't be serious,why on Earth would I want to hang out with you." I said but when I said that I saw a flash of sadness go through his eyes.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath but I could have sworn his eyes looked Abit darker "what I mean is?"

He opened his eyes that glowed a green color and he smiled"I never had time to apologise for yelling at you when we meet, that wasn't me so I thought if we spend some time together you would see I'm not that bad of a guy" he said seeming pleased with how he spoke.

Is this guy high or something?

" Listen Alastair you seem like a ... "Normal"guy but what kind of stuff are you on exactly?" I asked seeming abit curious on what his reasons were.

I really should get home before mom tries to call me to see where I am since school is over.I slowly began feeling irritated ,but here goes this asshole pushing the button again

"I'm on nothing love"he spoke,Did he just.... "Stop. Calling .Me. love"then the atmosphere seems to change .

he stepped closer still holding that stupid look

"what's wrong love am I angering you?"

My eyes widened ,is this b***h challenging me?

As I was just about to break this assholes life my phone started ringing"okay Alastair, enough games give me my phone"I said beginning to panic

he made an innocent face " or perhaps ishould answer it" he said while putting the phone near his ear"Samuel I swear to God ,just give me the phone" I said jumping for it .

I Know if he answers it then it's game over and mom would throw a bunch of questions wondering if I have a friend or worse ,a boyfriend.

"Come on Hazel"he pleaded "All you have to do is give me a chance " he said while the phone still ringing,

I Huffed loudly " OKAY,FINE,fine ....We'll... hang out".i mumbled "now give me my phone "I reached up to get my phone away from him but this motherfucker moved it further away from me.

"You know Hazel I wasn't born yesterday I know your thinking of saying yes but we'll never hanging out" he said staring at me ,messing up my plan .

"So I want you to give me your word but if you lie to me, I'll bug you for all your life and trust me I can be pretty annoying sometimes"he got closer ,Really I didn't know that?

"So Hazel give me your word." He said with his hand out asking for my word."okay, okay, okay!"I said quickly shaking his hand ignoring the look he gave me.

All of a sudden his face lit upwith a smile .

He gave me my phone back and walked away acting cocky while the though just hit me....

I made a deal with the devil.

And I know for sure this will not end well.

After that asshole give me my phone back my phone it automatically stopped ringing.

Weird...

I got in my car and started heading home and while I was driving began thinking on how today went ,on how this guy who I had no intention on actually talking to just so happened to make me have to hang out with him .

But I know no matter what he throws at me I must be prepared for the worst .My eyes started looking at the road I was going knowing full well that this is the only road I seen to know from this town ,the road that has a small shop with all the things I need for the house.

the reason I only know this street even if I lived in this town my whole life is because I only want to go to places I need to go too I never go into the other places this town has to offer because the less I am noticed ,the better.

As I got home I walked in expecting mom to be right at the door step wondering why I didn't answer my phone andm aking me promise that I would have to tell her if anything good happened to me at school .

But I didn't see her ,"Mom , you here " I shouted walking in the kitchen only to notice a small slip of paper with her handwriting on it and to be honest I know exactly what it's going to say .

I grab the note and began to read :

Dear my lovely Hazel ,

I hate to do this to you but mommy has to leave for a few days ,but only because of work ,I know it's kinda tough for you to always be alone in the house but you know I'm doing this for us so that is why I want you to make some friends.

Learn to life my dear ,I will try to call you as much as I can but sadly my phone has broken .

If you need anything call your ant Freda and I'm sure shell be able to help .

I'll be home as soon as possible,I love you Hazel and I'll see you soon .

I rolled my eyes "does she always have to be away",I closed my eyes and breathed"she's doing this for us " I opened my eyes crumbling the paper and throwing it away.

"But that is another reason for me to focus on my studies and not try to ' learn to live ' so I can leave mom and deal with my stuff myself .

I go to my room and lay on my bed and my mind starts to run but not about anything but but actually weird ,I start thinking about that guy and how he kissed my neck or how he carried me away from beating that b***h Delila, just me thinking about his is starting to piss me off. I whined knowing this night was gonna be difficult.
