Chapter 10 Decamping to Leah’s was a surprisingly good decision. After helping me move some of my clothing and things from our mother’s house to hers (during a time when our mother wasn’t home), Leah put me up in the guest room and I instantly fell into a comfortable cohabitation with her and her family. My brother-in-law, Adam, welcomed me with no weirdness, and my niece and nephew, Kate and Jacob, were happy to have someone else around to interrogate and play with.
