my name is Wana and this is my story about a love triangle that leaves me hurt and devistated. It was about 5:pm on a Saturday in December 2014. I was on my way home from my supervisor mother funeral where my coworkers and I went to give support to our supervisor. While on the coaster bus travelling home I was seated next to my friend shandy talking, laughing And having a good time. my personality is one that, once am in good company and comfortable around the persons I will have fun. I love to have fun but she has to be in the right group of people. While my friends and I were chatting away and making mischief with the other persons on the bus my phone ring, I ignored the phone because the number came up as private. I do not answer private calls due to the fact that I was in a previous relationship with a man name Mike for ten years of my young adult life and he betrayed her by cheating on her with a women in the District that I lived, getting the woman pregnant and gives the woman my car that I took a loan from the bank to purchase. Mike and I were together for ten years. we started an export company together where I used all my life savings to start up the company and invest in the business. The mistake I make was to build the company building on Mike family property. About five years during the relationship between mike and I, mike met a teacher, Cecilia who teaches at a school near to where his parents lives. Mike started a relationship with Cecilia with the encouragement of his parents. Through out all that time Mike was with Cecilia he and I were still together planning our future not realizing I was now the other woman, Mike has started a family with someone else. I encourage him to purchased a car for us to use instead of renting vehicles whenever we have to be traveling far distance. Mike did not have the money to purchase the car so I borrowed the money from my bank to finance it. Because I could not drive or have a driver's license I encouraged Mike to insured and license the car in his name. later same year, I travelled to Canada where I met my cousin who worked for an Indian man who does import of Caribbean food produce into Canada, my cousin introduced me to his boss and I and the gentleman becomes business partners where he helped finance the starting up a export company and I shipped the food produce to him to sell. I discussed the business proposal to Mike and he encouraged me to start the business because it a business that has the potential of being successful. I along with the business man financial help started the export company, by getting getting guidance from my business partners in Canada. my business expand and I gain other business partners in England. I registered the company in my name where I received my licensed to export to Canada and England. While I was running the business full time I was also working full time as a police officer. I was consumed by work and spend all my time trying to make my business successful. Mike was living in Canada so he was not around to assist me with the day to day running if the business. During this time, I observed that my relationship with Mike was not what it use to be, he started to display some changes in his behaviour towards me. at first I did not take it as anything, I ignored it always making excuses for his behaviour towards me. I started to observed that whenever he and I are driving pass the school, where Cecilia works he would close all the car windows, he refused to walk with me pass the area where Cecilia lived. Whenever he visit the Caribbean instead of staying by my house like he would normally do he start staying by his parents house. If he does visit me at my house he would come to my house late saying he was by his parents house. I also observed that he refuse from taking me anywhere with him. as the years progresses I observed that our relationship started to get worst because Mike started accusing me of cheating, he started disrespecting me by complaining about my tummy which was high due to my illness. It reaches a stage where he even stop having s****l i*********e with me and when he does he always causes me to feel insecure with myself because he is always complaining that I do not satisfy him sexually which left me feeling insecure about myself. December of 2012 I received a telephone call from a private number, upon answering my mobile phone, the female caller on the other end of the line was please to inform me that Mike is now hers and i must understand and leave mike alone because she is the woman that his parents accept and not me. The female who I later learned to be Cecilia further goes to inform me that she was on her way to be with Mike for her birthday and there is nothing I can do about it. after hanging up my phone, I called Mike and inform him of the call to which he accused me of being a lier and a mischief maker. Months pass and I continued to receive telephone calls from a private number with the female sending pictures of her and Mike together. Cecilia even sent photos to my phone of her and Mike and a baby girl stating it's Mike child and I should moved on because I cannot give Mike what he wanted most which was a child. This left me very devistated, on more than once I discussed having a family with Mike. on each occasions I try to discuss raising a family together he dismissed the topic stating I am not ready to be a mother much less have a family. I was very hurt because I wanted a child more than anything else. Due to my job i was able to trace the calls and provide Mike with the evidence. the relationship between mike and I get to a stage where they both plot against me and reported lies to authority about me that I was threatening Cecilia, it started affecting my job so I eventually break off the relationship with Mike, when I broke off the relationship, Mike take my car that I am paying for from my salary and gives to Cecilia telling me that he is not going allow his child and his baby mother to take Taxi. Mike even served me notice from going onto his property where I built the export company causing me to lost millions because I could not operate my business.Since that situation between Cecilia and Mike i refuse to answer private calls. My mobile phone continues to ring. It was becoming annoying causing a disturbance of the conversation I was having with my friend shandy. Shandy informed me to turn off my phone or answer it. I was going to turn off my phone but decide to answer instead to see who was calling. upon answering my phone, I heard a male asking, "is this Wana." I responded to say, "yes", and the person said, "I receive your number from my cousin Mark, my name is Boyde, do you remember me?. At first I did not remember Boyde because it was over 20 years I has not seen or heard from him. Boyde reminded me of how we met and things we use to do and that was when I remembered him. I was surprised and happy to hear from Boyde, I was so over joyed I jumped up on down on the bus with laughter because I did not know I would ever see or hear from him again. we talked the entire duration of the drive home which was over four hours catching up on our lives and reminiscing about the past. Boyde told me how much he misses me and how sorry he was for not getting in contact with me sooner. He told her that he would love to continue calling and speaking to me to which i accepted. Boyde and I met when I was seventeen years old, he was from a different village in my country. I used to see him only on summer and Christmas holidays. I fell in love with him the first time we met, I was three years younger than he was and we were both shy so we only hang out, enjoyed each other companies but we did not get involved romantically. About three years after I met him I notice he stop coming to my village, I asked his cousin that was a family friend about him, but he was unable to give any answer as to his whereabouts. eventually I stop asking and over the years I forget about him.
