"Jesi..."

"Ho-honey? What's wrong with you?"

"Jesi, I have something important to tell you. But you promise to love me and accept me no matter what?"

"What do you mean?"

Harvey held Jesi's hand. "I am actually a wolf."

"That's not possible!" Jesi let go of Harvey's hand.

"B-but I love you, Jesi! I can't live without you."

"I don't want to have a wolf for a husband! What will our offspring look like? Wait! What you ate was..." Jesi took the flashlight and shone it at Harvey's backside. "Impossible, is that...?"

"Jacob."

"What?"

"He is Jacob. I was so hungry that I accidentally ran into him. I was furious when Jacob said that he loved you and would take you away from me."

"Jacob is the name of a wolf."

Harvey nodded.

"So?"

"So, I fought him, and, yes, now I can enjoy a delicious dinner."

"Nooo!" Jesi ran. She was about to escape from the apartment. But her efforts were in vain when she noticed that the door to the room was suddenly locked. Jesi moved the doorknob, hoping it would open soon.

Jesi turned on the water tap. "s**t! Why did it break? I only turned it a little, and that's what I used to do before..."

"Enough! It's too late!" Jesi went to her room, and Harvey followed her.

"Jesi, I know, I was wrong! But there's one thing you need to know: I love you very much. Being a werewolf isn't as bad as you think. We can still live our days like normal humans! You can still see me going to work and... "

"Every day, prepare blood for you to drink, like food and milk? I really didn't imagine before that my life would become like this."

Harvey hugged Jesi. "Allow me to prove that I can make you happy! I promise to do whatever you want, even if it means sacrificing myself."

Jesi stared at Harvey's face. The woman-turned-wolf was silent for a moment. "I love you, Harvey."

"I love you more. I don't want to lose you, Jesi."

The next morning at the apartment.

"What's wrong with my body? Harvey? I'm suddenly breaking out in spots, and it's very itchy."

"What's wrong, honey?"

"I don't know; my body suddenly feels very itchy, and my stomach suddenly became big."

"No way!"

"Why, what's going on with me?"

"Jesi, are you pregnant?"

"Pregnant?"

"When the baby-to-be's power is greater than both of ours."

"What? So, what should we do now?"

"There is no other way. Whether we want to or not, we must raise this child, as it is our responsibility!"

Jesi nodded again. "Harvey, I'm thirsty; can you get me a drink?"

"Of course! I'll get you a drink. Here, have a drink!"

"But I don't want to drink water."

"So?

"I want blood!"

No way. Harvey went into a forest. "Is this what the catastrophe is all about? In fact, I can't believe that baby's power is greater than mine and Jesi's."

Harvey then saw a deer from quite a distance. "Deer! There's no other choice! I'll give Jesi a drink of deer blood."

"Khaaa!" Harvey chased after the deer. "I won't let you run! Gotcha! Khaaa! Taste this!"

Harvey savagely bit the deer's neck. "It's dead! There's no way I'm bringing a dead deer into the apartment. I'll take its blood and put it in a plastic bag. That's it. Jesi, I'll be right back. Wait for me!"

That evening in an apartment.

"Honey, I'm home!" "Jesi? Where did you go? There was a sound like... No way!" Harvey ran into the secret room.

"Jesi! What are you...?"

"Harvey, I was so hungry that I forced my way in here and intended to finish Jacob's meat, but...?"

"But I understand Jesi first." Jacob suddenly appeared from the darkness of the corner of the room.

"Jacob? No way! Aren't you already dead? And what do you mean by understanding Jesi?"

Jacob pulled Jesi's arm.

"Let her go!" Harvey shouted.

"Don't come any closer!" Jacob tightened his grip.

"Aaww!" Jesi whimpered in pain.

"Jesi?"

"Harvey, you're so stupid!" Jacob smiled sympathetically.

"What do you mean?"

"Firstly, if you think I'm dead and have eaten my flesh, you're dead wrong!"

"What? So, whose meat did I eat?"

"The meat you ate is no different from the meat from the blood of the deer you brought for your beloved wife."

"No way!" Harvey picked up the torch and pointed it at the dead animal.

"Deer? How can a wolf turn into a deer? No way!"

"Did you forget about the white deer that can transform into other animals? And you're right, what you ate and what Jesi just ate was deer blood and flesh, not me! Because I'm not that easy to die! Khaaa...! Jacob attacked Harvey by extending his hand.

Harvey's body bounced off and hit the wall.

"Ha-Harvey? No!"

"Where are you going? Shouldn't you be safe with me? I'll give you human blood like your baby wants, not wild animal blood that will make your pregnancy worse."

"Be-really that? So, what do you want me to do?"
