Ever since she had vowed not to take Elias to Sami’s house, Petra had gone out of her way to find activities around town for the twins, keeping them busy and stimulated. When Mrs. Madigan took them home at the end of the day, they either fell asleep in the car or crashed soon after they arrived, foregoing their bedtime routine with Petra.
