Part 1: GRADUATION DAY

1 year later. Spring. Seoul Arts High.

White flowers.

Parents everywhere.

Cameras flashing.

Ji-woo stood on stage.

Valedictorian.

Full scholarship to Seoul National University.

Tae-oh sat in the front row.

Student Council President speech.

Also going to SNU.

Business major.

When Ji-woo walked across the stage,

Tae-oh stood up and clapped the loudest.

After, they took photos.

With both halmonis.

With friends.

And together.

Chairman Kang was there too.

He walked to Ji-woo.

Ji-woo bowed 90 degrees. Nervous.

Chairman Kang looked at her.

Then at Tae-oh holding her hand.

Then sighed.

"You take care of my son," he said.

"Yes, Chairman-nim," Ji-woo said.

"And you," he said to Tae-oh. "Don’t make her cry."

"I won’t, father," Tae-oh said.

Then Chairman Kang did something shocking.

He bowed to Ji-woo.

"Thank you. For making him happy."

Ji-woo cried.

Tae-oh hugged her.

Part 2: MEETING THE PARENTS

Summer. Kang Mansion.

Ji-woo was terrified.

Wearing her best dress.

Brought kimchi from Halmoni.

Mrs. Kang opened the door.

Elegant. Cold.

Then smiled.

"So you’re the girl," she said.

"Yes, ma’am."

"Come in. Dinner is ready."

Dinner was awkward.

Until Mrs. Kang asked:

"So, Ji-woo-ssi. What do you want to do?"

"I want to be a teacher," Ji-woo said.

"To help kids like me."

Mrs. Kang paused.

Then nodded.

"Good. We need more teachers like you."

After dinner, Chairman Kang called Tae-oh to his study.

Ji-woo waited. Scared.

Tae-oh came out 10 minutes later.

Smiling.

"He said yes," Tae-oh whispered.

"He approves?"

"He said... 'She’s good for you. Don’t mess it up.'"

Ji-woo tackled him in a hug.

Part 3: UNIVERSITY LIFE

1 year later. SNU Campus.

They were that couple.

Library couple.

Cafeteria couple.

"Look, it’s Crown Prince and Scholarship Girl" couple.

Tae-oh still picked her up.

Still brought her bread.

Still held her hand in lectures.

Ji-woo was tutoring kids on weekends.

Tae-oh would come and help.

Teach them math.

The kids loved "Teacher Tae-oh".

On anniversaries, they went back to:

The library.

The rooftop.

The festival booth.

Part 4: THE PROPOSAL

4 years later. Graduation. Again.

SNU.

Ji-woo: Education degree.

Tae-oh: Business degree.

After the ceremony, Tae-oh said:

"Come with me. One last place."

He took her to the library.

Their library.

Empty. Night.

There was a table.

With 2 hot chocolates.

And a blanket.

Just like their first date.

Tae-oh got on one knee.

Holding a book.

Ji-woo started crying.

"Park Ji-woo," he said.

"You taught me how to be me.

You chose me when I had nothing to offer but me.

You made a cold guy warm.

You made a Crown Prince just... Tae-oh."

He opened the book.

Inside: a ring.

Simple. Elegant.

"Marry me?

Not for contract.

Not for status.

Just for forever?"

Ji-woo was sobbing.

"YES! YES, KANG TAE-OH!"

He put the ring on.

Then stood up.

And kissed her.

Long.

Soft.

With 4 years of love in it.

Part 5: EPILOGUE - 2 YEARS LATER

Kang & Park Wedding. Garden.

White flowers.

100 guests.

Both families crying.

Tae-oh in a tux.

Ji-woo in white.

Teacher now.

At a public school.

Tae-oh runs his own company now.

Small. Ethical.

Helps scholarship students.

After the vows, Tae-oh gave a speech:

"I met her when I was ice.

She melted me.

And I will spend forever making sure she never gets cold again."

Then they danced.

To their song.

NIGHT. THEIR HOME.

Small apartment.

Books everywhere.

Photos on the wall.

Of them. From high school to now.

Tae-oh was making ramen.

And didn’t burn it.

Progress.

Ji-woo came behind him.

Hugged him.

"Teacher-nim," he said.

"CEO-nim," she said back.

They ate ramen on the floor.

Like that first night.

"Remember high school?" Tae-oh asked.

"Yeah," Ji-woo laughed. "You were so cold."

"And you were so stubborn."

"Worth it," Tae-oh said. And kissed her forehead.

Outside, Seoul was bright.

Inside, their home was brighter.

On the table: no contract.

On her finger: a wedding ring.

In their hearts: forever.
