Amelia walked into the sitting room. Sylvia looked up and asked. “Where is Elisha?”
“I’ve put her to bed.” Amelia looked drained.
“Who did it?” Sylvia’s voice was fierce.
“She hasn’t spoken a word, as I touched her in the woods she screamed and that’s the only noise she has made.” Amelia sat next to her mother and burst into tears. Sylvia held Amelia and they cried together. Amelia looked at her mother. “Remember the young girl, who told you to “Beware of the giant?” Well I think this is what she was warning us about.”
“How do you know that, Amelia?” She told Sylvia about her vision in the bathroom.
For four days Elisha just lay in her bed, Amelia took her food, but she wouldn’t eat it. She managed to get her to take a potion and then Elisha did drink.
