CHAPTER 5 Amelia looked across the sitting room at Elisha; she was doing what she always did these days: read. It has been two months since the incident, she hasn’t mentioned it, and even when it had been mentioned, Elisha said nothing. Amelia was worried that Elisha will never come to terms with what has happened. She won’t go out of the house, she doesn’t want visitors, and when anyone comes to see her, she goes to her room.
