my mate & me

running away

Am I really that bad? Am I really that ugly and unlovable that even my own mate doesn't want to love me? I was lost in my own thoughts. I mean even my own parents don't take me to pack functions because they are ashamed of me. I have to talk to him... maybe it was just a misunderstanding. But, I have a feeling that he was disgust by the idea of being my mate. Jace has a reputation at school as "player", but come on. What happened to the 4th of july fireworks? we both felt it... I could see it in his eyes. But this... "Ouch" my wolf whispers. "Yes I know... Painfull" I answer back. I take out my phone and search for Sarah.

 "I found my mate..." 

2 minutes pass by and I didn't got an answer yet.

why time goes so slow...!

ping!

"WAIT REALLY??? WHO IS IT?? OMG I"M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!"

"yeah... you don't want to know. It was too embarrasing."

"Oh come on! I need to know!"

"Okay... It's Jace.. you know the next gen Alpha... I'm not happy about it either."

it stayed silent for a couple of minutes.

"well it can't be that bad right? I mean he's bloody handsome"

I laughed behind my phone. she was right. He is Bloody handsome.

"Well... yes but..."

After explaining what happened earlier this morning she said that I had to talk with him.

BRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGG!! The bell rang and I got pulled out of my own thoughts. I'm happy that Mr.Jones didn't ask me anything because I haven't payed any attention at all...  I took my bag and rushed out of the classroom. I guess it's good that I know where he usually hangs out in the breaks. I walk down the hallway and up the stairs in the G corridor. This part hasn't been used in ages...only by Jace and his group. They stood at the top of the stairs talking about girls and stuff. Once I got at the top of the stairs they all stopped talking and just stared at me. "What do you want?" It wasn't Jace or Scott who asked but it was Matt. He is the biggest asshole of the group. I ignored Matt and turned to Jace. "Can we talk...?" I nervously asked. "about what?" He leaned back against the wall and he raised his eyebrow waiting for an answer. "Us" I whispered while I looked down completely embarrassed. I hoped that only Jace would hear me. Every guy bursted out in laughing except for Scott who looked curious. Even Jace was laughing and I could feel my confidence break in a million peaces and so did my heart.

I can't imagine that this is my mate... I always expected a knight in shining armor but instead I got a dumbass donkey who only cared about popularity and how many girls he could get. "There will NEVER be an us! NEVER! you understand? You're just my best friends fat, ugly and disgusting sister. You're a disgrace for the pack." "But we're mates" I felt power and anger racing through my veins. "We're mates if you like it or not. I'm not happy about it either believe me." He looked at me with fire spitting out of his eyes. "There is no way in hell that I'll ever be your mate." he spitted that out with disgust "You're an obese, ugly, b***h that nobody wants. even your parents didn't want you and I feel sorry for whoever has to love you." 

He's right... my dad left after finding out that my mom was slutting around and she just cared about money and was ashamed of her fat daughter so left Scott and me alone. We have never heard of neither of them again.

"HA! YOU RUINED HER!" Matt screams while highfiving Jace. He wasn't wrong. He ruined me and just thinking of the fact that my own mate said all that stuff didn't made it any better. 

"Asshole" I say while I turned around. I looked back at Scott who was standing in the corner not saying anything. I can't believe he didn't do anything. Just as I wanted to walk down the stairs to escape this terrible moment I get shoved down the stairs. Before I passed out I heard Matt talk. "f**k off Chubbs"

Finally I reached the end of the stairs and I just layed there. I couldn't move and I couldn't see. "BELLA!! BELLA!! I heard Scott scream before everything went completely dark. 

"We have to kill them all. They are terrible! Look what they did to my little Bella! My beautiful little Bella... Jace doesn't deserve you that disgusting manslut. Where did he got the nerve talking to you like that?! He's supposed to be our mate... And he knows it!" My wolf doesn't shut up anymore. 

why does I feel like I've been ran over by ten trains...? Oh ye never mind I got pushed down a stairs. 

I tried to open my eyes. "bella?" Scott's voice sounded worried. I let out a small growl. "How are you feeling?" I looked to the side just to see Sarah. I could see the relieve on her face.

"HOW AM I FEELING?" tears are rolling down my cheeks. "sis..." "do NOT call me that" I growled at him.

"what?" I saw the panic in his eyes. "YOU JUST STOOD THERE! YOU JUST STOOD THERE WHILE JACE SAID ALL THOSE TERRIBLE THINGS ABOUT ME! YOU JUST STOOD THEIR WHILE MATT PUSHED ME DOWN THE STAIRS!" it stayed silent for a moment. "Bells..." Scott started. 

"get out." He just looked at me in disbelieve. "GET OUT I SAID" I snapped at him. 

He left the room as fast as possible and he took Sarah with him. She flashed me a fast sweet smile as she closed the door behind her.

I didn't want to stay here... but I have no place to go... No family... No one.

Wait... I do have somebody to go to... 

I grabbed my phone and dialed Max his number. 

after it ringed 3 times he picked up the phone. 

"Hey sweety! How are you doing?"

I broke down in tears the moment I heard his voice.

"Ohh honey what happened??" 

After I explained everything he told me that I could stay at his place for a while. 

we hang up the phone and I started packing in my bags. I need to leave but Scott can't see me leaving. 

I climbed out of my window and rushed as fast as I could to the other side of the street. Max lives in a completely other town almost 3 hours away from here. good thing I'm a werewolf. I changed and started running. I felt the wind gowing through my beautiful shining rare blue-ish fur. Yep... My hair as a human is brown but as a wolf it's blue... It's very rare since I'm the only one left with this color. My grandma used to have the same color but she died 3 years ago leaving me behind as the only one.

after 2,5 hours I arrived. I shifted back and I walked up to the door which swung open directly.

"HONEYBEAR" Max screamed. "Hey max" I smiled while he pulled me into a hug.
