This showed to be extra nerve-wracking. I knew there would be people and a lot of them, but I hadn’t expected so many. There were people everywhere at this event, and this wasn’t just a regular place where there was only one floor, no, we were hosting this in a three-story building where the floors connected in a spiral, with a big stage right in the middle on the lower floor where I would soon enough be standing to give the speech that would hopefully make this week worth everything that had happened.
