At first, all I wanted for her was a distraction from the past day's events. I wanted her to focus on something else and so when the call came in from my mother about the foundation being approved, I got my wish despite it being a very late notice.
However, even though it had been such a late notice, she managed to completely pull it off, taking everyone by surprise.
