Kimberly’s POV
I didn’t think much of Landon leaving even though I wanted to ask about it, but as soon as he was gone, people came up to me asking about the foundation, congratulation me, and donated. The number of donations that people came up with and personally gave me within 5 minutes was out of this world, so much that I even had to take a break.
“Is this all a little too much?” Marie asked with a soft smile.
“A little too much a little too fast,” I chuckled lightly.
She gave me an understanding look as she waved over a waiter.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“Making sure that no one will bother you while you go out for a breath of fresh air.”
